Ptrsu department review

The course is easy to understand and well curated . The course is of 4 years that consists 8 semesters in total . Each semester is wisely planned to favour students comprehensiveness. The course prepares you well for future goals whether job or higher studies . The exam are little difficult but can be passed if syllabus is read well .

My fees for 1st year was 28600 approx which included admission fee tuition fee library fee caution fee labbfee development fee etc. The fees has been same for 2021 batch . The current fee structure for the year 2024 is 45000 for both girls and boys . For reserved categories the fee is refunded as scholarship.

Uni fests are held each year which lets students showcase their talent in various fields like dance singing , music, drawing , rangoli, arts and craft , cartooning , debate , extempore etc. There are also sports events during uni fests and the whole experience is refreshing. Traditional days and important days are celebrated with great enthusiasm.

This in the only government college in raipur and Chhattisgarh apart from ggu in bilaspur. The college is also near to my home which provides easy transportation. The fee is quite affordable as compared to other colleges. The eligibility criteria is clearance of ppht exam and the students must have pcb or pcm in 12th standard. Cutoffs vary year to year .

There were not enough faculty in the past years but recently many facilities have been recruited so there is a balanced faculty to student ratio . Each year has 2 semesters and total of 6 exams are conducted every year .there are two internals and 1 final exam in each semester

Haven't really experienced any night life here . The campus has a gym with number of equipments and it is open to all the students in the university. The gym is very affordable with 100 rupees as admission fee . There is no cafeteria which is an issue as the university is quite big and there is no transportation facility. The small shop inside university that mostly has packed snacks charge extra than the mrp. The campus altogether is a safe and secure place with guards guarding in every corner .
