Likes

Campus is good , it have a huge campus .
Facilities are good, if you are interested in sports then you can go for it

Dislikes

Some people in the Management are rude in the campus
Faculty are good but they can't manage the things on time , they took a lot of time to perform a practical or anything

Course Curriculum Overview

Exam timings are good but practical timings are unstable, few times you have to wait hours to start practicals but you can do a lot of things in the campus there is sports arena , ground and many more things to do in the free time .

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 71000 per year

Placement Experience

You have the degree then you are eligible for campus placement but you have to score more than 7.5 CGPA to attempt placement exams so you have to maintain a score in your course . Placements are really good .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course was 71k and it's quiet reasonable ( this fees is total fees ) if you are from hilly area or himalyan region then you can get 15% off in your fee and there are also different scholarship for SC ST and OBC candidates. I am removing one star only for management resently I had given my practical and it took me 9 hours to complete , I went there at 8 in the morning and leave at 5:30 in the evening and busses were also gone.

Campus Life

There are lot of clubs in this college, you can take part in NSS , NCC and there are a lot of social clubs in the campus and they only have a minimum fee of 500 to 600 rupee . So I think you can easily enroll these clubs .

Admission

In my case the fee was less compared to other colleges and if you have to choose a best college in your budget you can definitely go for it. In other colleges you have buss fee of almost 10k but in this college you only have 1k per semister .

Faculty

Faculty teaches good , but sometimes the syllabus is not completed so you have to do few things from yourself . Most of the things will be taught even maximum things will be taught but in few things you have to compromise.

Night Life

I don't know much about night life but ya it's great. College offers you a lot of events in night like GRAFEST . It is one of the greatest events in GEHU and GEU where we enjoy our night life in the campus .

Placement Experience:

There are many companies who visit our college for placements also many companies offers great package 14,00,000 which is good for students who want to start their career in software industry. I remember some companies like josh technologies, jf knowledge centre, relaxo, decatholon etc. Every week there are 2-3 companies who comes for placements. In our college the highest package was 44,00,000 of a b.tech student. Average package was 5,00,000. the percentage was 30% students getting placed every year. My plans after this degree is that i want to get a secure job in It sector.

My first and experience of college

Placement Experience:

The placements over here, have a clear cut criteria from the college and the percentage for getting your placement. Cell is like above 75%. You cannot sit below 75% on the placement cell. Also, you have to clear all your backlogs, and there are various companies that offers the internships and also the placements to the universities. There is Microsoft Adobe, many more big companies that do come to the college for placements and internships. also, the placements provided by these companies are also good with the salaries and incentives they provide for the contract, so it was also the main reason that I choose this college

All about Graphic Era University

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year i.e from 5th semester for engineering students . The university invites more than 150 companies every year. Some of the major recruiters of GEU, Dehradun are Samsung, Wipro, Axis Bank, Vodafone, HCL, Genpact, Syntel and IBM. The package depends on the course you have opted for , like for engineering students the average package this year was 8 lakhs and the maximum package was 48 lakhs whereas for BCA students the maximum package is 6-7 lakhs. Almost all the students get placed except for 1 or 2 . Even they get placed after some traning provided by the college. Currently I don't have any plans regarding future , I am just trying to make my present the best and then let's see how the future unfolds.

Remarks:

Aside from every one of the focuses secured over two or three things that individuals who are anticipating take affirmation should know: The general foundation is simply okayish. You'll get the fundamental pleasantries however don't keep your expectations high. There is uniform in the grounds with the exception of Wednesday. My group possibly the last bunch with full time uniform so that is up in the air. The library has grown up quickly. For the underlying year you'll get books which you can peruse however later on the correct reading material are not given by the library. You have to approach the instructor's for PDFs, PPTs and so forth. Workstation is must for making due here in UPES. You have to experience some futile online courses with week by week assignments. In the event that you are remaining in bidholi, at that point transport accommodation for late night won't be available.

About My College Expereince

Remarks:

Positive comment about college is the best faculty and environment for studies. The negative remark is that a much better can be done for job placements and internships provided by the college. Till now it is not up to its best. If it will get improved more students will get a chance to prove themselves. And some big MNC must be called for internships and company placements.

After 12 I applied for UIT college but that was not as good as Graphic Era Hill University,as the number of placement are high in Graphic Era and the fees is also affordable comparing with UIT bad the infrastructure is also better then that of UIT's.I cleared the percentage criteria of UIT also but by comparing both the colleges in these parameters I choose Graphic Era Hill University The admission procedure in graphic Era is by filling and getting qualified in CUET exam,only the selected students get the seat and also students can take admission on the basis of their class 12 percentage.The cutoff percentage to get admission in B.Tech computer science in Graphic Era Hill University is 80 percent below that the seat for B.Tech in computer science is not allowed....Read More
