Likes

I like the atmosphere because it's so peaceful.
Their is no transport issues and they provide hostel for those who live far away.
Teachers are very friendly and they teach us clearly.

Dislikes

Their is less college programs compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

I really like my course and i choose it for my own decision. It is different from other degrees and it provide more scope. After bsc if we want we can choose msc or we can get job after completing bsc.

Class Size: 5Course Fees: INR 12200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a new college in kannur and i found this college through kannur university allotment. Their is less students in this college compared to other colleges but i found so peaceful their. I paid 20200 in first sem including lab, library etc and the course fee is 12200 for sem.And here they provide other courses like microbiology, biotechnology, forestry and plant science also

Campus Life

Our sports day is coming soon so I didn't no about it and i only know about 3programs because after i joined the college they held 3programs like onam, Christmas and fresher's. And these 3program was just good for me

Admission

In my opinion it is a better college than compared to others and the fees for this course is less than other colleges. I also like the college transport because it's not difficult and it is too close to the road

Faculty

As a 1st year student i only attended 1st sem exam and the 2nd sem is coming nearly and the 1st sem exam was not difficult as we students thought, every students in the 1st year passed with good marks and no one is failed in that exam.

Night Life

This college is near to my hometown only 25minute long so, i don't need of any hostels. And their is library in our college but mainly their is books such like reference for our studies.And their is a famous river located close to the college

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.

Peekay college, The heaven of studies and programs.

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. I choosed this college because it was near to my home so maybe one can say that i took it because of convinence but after studying there i understood that it was my best option like it's so good studying there. I applied to sirsyed college S. N college SES college but due to my less mark i didn't got admission there.
