Course Curriculum Overview

3

Some aspects of curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is some teachers teaching method which is outstanding. The curriculum doesn't prepare me as much for real world application. The improvements for course curriculum and teaching methods is that the teacher should interact nicely with students and they should give us more knowledge about other things than the subject topic or teach more about the topics that can help us in future. The timing of exams is good, no issue about it .

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay my course annual fees of one year is 14000 and hostel fees is 72000 . I have non practical subject so practical charges is not included. My batchmates who have the practical subject, they pay extra charges. No scholarship provided for general category students. My college gave scholarship to the 12 th pass merit student but they didn't gave to general category students hence they mentioned it that it is for all caste category but they gave only to sc/ st. The students who have merit in any sem exams , the college gave them scholarship

Campus Life

3

Our college only organise farewell and fresher parties and diwali , holi festival party . The library has many books and journals but they didn't give to students . It is just showpieces . There is no facilities and technology provided in classroom. The blackboard are broken , benches are broken , all are in bad state. The boking , taekwondo and badminton sport offered in campus . There is no sports ground in college. There is no students social groups , clubs or student portals.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel facilities is very poor . They only apply unwanted rooms . No hostel outings. There is no hostel parties. The room has defective furniture. The cleanliness of rooms is nice but they clean fan and window only one time in a year . The meal quality is good but sometimes they make delicious food but sometimes doesn't. The menu is so boring. When principal is come for checking the food they make it delicious but sometimes we have to sleep hungry. The hostel water supply of drinkable water is good but non drinkable water is poor like we bath in summer in very hot water which lead skin infection. There is no facilities for drying clothes in winter. The cooler is in very poor condition . Sometimes they run properly but sometimes doesn't. They only apply unwanted rules like do not roam in balcony, do study be in your room . It looks like a jail . The registration process is simple anybody can apply for hostel . The hostel charges is affordable. The locality is good if I rented a room or PG

Admission

I only apply for gvm girls college sonipat because someone suggested it. The infrastructure of this college influenced me the most. No I didn't got any rejection from other colleges . I didn't fill any other colleges application form. I wanted to fill but it was too late . So I apply for this college. I got admission on the basis of my 12 th marks. There is no specific criteria or any exams for applying in this college. If u want to take admission in college u can . The students get easily admision in this college. Admission process is simple. The admission experience is good. I got my name in first merit list of college.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student relationship is good but some faculty members are very rude . I like my course teachers and also like other teachers who are good . The reason is they help me in my study also they provide other opportunities and they give knowledge about my future and taught me about what I do after this course. I dislike most is library staff and the clerk staff . Both are lazy . Library staff didn't provide book easily they always create issue and start argument with students. The teacher done exam duties very honestly. There is no cheating system. The exams are of medium type , if students did proper study they will get easily pass else they have back in their exams. The marking schemes is not good . It can be good if they want . In last i also want to tell you about my college hostel. The water supply of non drinkable water like bathing water is very poor . In summer we have to bath in very hot water which lead to skin infection. The mess food menu is very bad . It would be better if they want but they didn't change it . Sometimes they make delicious food but sometimes doesn't. When the principal is come in our hostel they make delicious food but sometimes we have to sleep hungry

Interview Experience

4

There is no interview or written test for the admission. The admission criteria is based on the 12 th marks . The process is very simple ,anybody can get admission. There is no specific exams for admission in our college

Night Life

1

I have no night experience in during my college life because I'm hosteler and my hostel rules didn't allow me to go outside the college whether it is day or night. Our hostel has gym but the gym equipment are impaired. Our college has one canteen and one is cafeteria. Both are good not much. Library also good but not as much as it can be. The hostel only allow us to roam in college before 5:30 pm . We didn't go outside the college. They allow us on parents permission. There is no full day outing . If we go outside the college on outing then we come on next day , on the same day they didn't allow us to come. There is no hangout places inside but there is a lot of places outside the college like the famous dhabas of murthal and cafes in sonipat. But we didn't go outside the college in my college life to make memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific Aspects That Influenced the Decision For students choosing a professional or certificate course, the curriculum usually becomes the deciding factor based on three key pillars: Job-Oriented Specific Skills: The primary influence is the curriculum's direct focus on market-based, job-ready skills (e.g., Python, Data Science, Digital Marketing tools). Unlike a traditional degree, the appeal is that every module must be immediately applicable to a job. Portfolio Development: Students are heavily influenced by modules that are project-based or require them to build a portfolio (like a website, a code repository, or a marketing plan). The curriculum must be designed to result in tangible work that can be shown to employers. Industry Certification Alignment: If the course prepares students for an external, recognized industry certificate (like CCNA, MCP, or Google/Meta certificates), the curriculum's strict adherence to that certification standard is a major influence. 2. Preparation for Real-World Applications The curriculum of a successful short-term course is designed to excel specifically in preparing students for real-world applications. Curriculum Improvements Mandatory Soft Skills Integration: While technical skills are a focus, the curriculum should mandate dedicated modules on non-technical, yet critical, job skills like: Professional Communication and Email Etiquette Team Collaboration and Project Management (Agile/Scrum basics) Interview Preparation and Mock Interviews Industry Feedback Loop: Establish a more frequent and formal system to update the curriculum based on current industry demands, possibly involving an advisory board of employers or recent alumni.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced because I wanted to study more about how a person makes decisions, form perception and how a person's mind works . The curriculum prepares us for real world as we study about different aspects of psychology. The curriculum can be improved a little by adding a elective course in which we can get a little experience and arranging trips . The exams are not too difficult or too easy , just in perfect depth of the subject.
