As a student in GSSSIETW

As an electronics and communication engineering student in GSSSIETW, the college provides good facilities and ants on experience for the real word interactions. As it is a core branch it needs many practical experience and coding skills. Show the college provides a good opportunity in participating and many external and internal competitions to build competitiveness. So as the faculties are good the curriculum is maintained well as the teaching is also good. The methods they followed to make the students interact and get experience practically is really good. Many workshops and hands on sessions are arrange for the practical knowledge. There are even many clubs where students can participant in technical events and learn more about the technical experiences.

When it comes to internships provided in the college, there are many companies from the placement departments providing internships for selected people. But when the students doesn't get any internship from the companies provided the college itself provides Intra College internships. There are many domains related to particular branches where the students can opt for the fields they want to work with and do their internships in the given duration of time from the university. When the internships are provided from the companies it is usually stipend companies like Accenture, Boeing, Dell, HP and many other companies provide stipend internships. But when the internship is provided from the college it is usually not stipend but there are many things to learn during the space of internship. Students can take over many projects and task based on the knowledge begin from the internship inside the college.

When a girl joins GSSSIETW, be assured that she will get placed as long as she does not have any active backlogs. This college provides best placements in the city with the average package of 4.5 LPA. Getting 50% of dream package, 10% of superdream package and 40% average packages, almost all students gets an offer by the end of the course. The highest packege recordex this year is 31 LPA by Visa. The mass hiring companies like LTTS has hired almost 65-75 students in one go. There are more than 50 companies which has already hired students only by 7th semester. If at all a student fail to get placed, it's purely due to backlogs. Else the placement officer makes sure to give an offer for every student.

The fees of this institution is normally followed as set by the government. When it is for the management quota, it depends on the branch that you opt for. Usually compared with any other colleges in mysore, GSSS provides best placements with handsom knowledge with less fees in management category. The fees usually inclues tuition fees, caution fees, lab fees, and other charges. There are other extra fees which is to be paid during academics like, placement training and skill enhancement fees, transportation fees if you are opting for bus and hostel fees if you are a hostel residency. When it comes to scholarship, this college provides many scholarships like Geetha chaithanya and others for those who excel in academics and other scholarships for caste categories.

The events are held according to the funding from the college recently during the month of November there was a national level event organised by the various clubs it was the hackhathon. There is an club called apti club which is built from the placement department of the college even this club organisers many placement related activities to prepare the students for the upcoming placements. Apti class active during the month where the companies come into the college in the peak time. The facilities and the technology's provided for the classrooms are really good and high end. Each and every classrooms are provided with projectors and good working blackboards and many other facilities. The sports and extra curricular activities are offered. The college has maintained many university level places continuously from past few years.

GSSSIETW is a women only college where girls at very good opportunities in all the ways. I even applied for many other colleges in and around Mysore but finally I got a chance to join in this institution. Opting IT branches was not not my choice, so I opted for ECE, and I think I made a good decision. During the eligibility examination, I couldn't make it to the top institues of the city. But joining GSSS, I never regreted my choice. It provided me with many opportunities and skills. Finally getting placed is like a fruit in the desert. So opting this college never disappoints a girl. The main advantage in joining here is that it's a girls only college. So joining some co education college and getting surpassed or being inferior to participate actively is worst. So it's better to join here and be ourself.

When it comes to faculty and student ratio and faculty to the student relationship, the situation as maintain very well in this college. The student to teachers ratios meet in very well specially in our department. Teachers are not to script or not to lenient but a good mentoring relationship as maintained between the teachers and students. All faculties are well behaved and good to the students, so there is nothing like the favourite or the not good teacher or something. The schemes are well followed as per the universities syllabus provided by the main University. The teachers or faculties come well prepared and groom students as per the syllabus scheme so that for the external examinations menu of the students can pass the exams with good scores.

The night life around the college campus is good as far as I have heard. As I am a day college student who comes from my home, when it is too late around the college it's not a leftover area so there are many vehicles and transportation facilities available even if its late from the college. As for the hostel students the facilities like gym cafeteria libraries during the evening and every other facilities are available until some extent of time. There are many places near the college campus like hangout places like cafes and movie theatres and ect.
