Course Curriculum Overview

It's very hectic in computer department starts the day at 9 in the morning and ends in the evening 4 or 5 and first internal is after 8 weeks of completion and 2nd and 3rd within 6-8 weeks of time period

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

According to the new nep rule they have made compulsory to do internship for atleast 6 months which is equivalent to one semester and also a some stipend is provided which varies according to the company you have got selected

Placement Experience

Average package lies between 3-5 lpa and the placements start in the 7th and 8th semester with many companies visiting the college atleast half of them get placed in that, In order to be eligible for placements you should hv atleast 60%

Fees and Financial Aid

1L per semester, various schemes available who have income certificate, seperate fees for examination, Management entry depends on what branch you are taking highest for Computers engineering and lowest for mechanical engineering

Campus Life

There are many clubs in college which are fun and innovative which helps in students progress in life like music, robotics , sports , coding , entrepreneurship many more and there are 3 main events in college namely Mithya, Techyon and Kurukshetra

Admission

Entry only through JEE exams even if you get 50%tile it makes sure that you'll get any branch in any college in Goa with Goa Engineering college being the superior of all after that comes our clg that is padre conceicao college of engineering which is better than don Bosco

Faculty

Faculties are not good but not great also , In one semester there are 3 internal tests with 2 being compulsory for all and also there are exams for practical subjects as well with an external examiner in charge

Night Life

We have Cremuex and a canteen in our campus , a decent library and also a stationary is available in the college premises only and there are many other necessities available within short radius like cafes , restaurants and bus stops

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

In my college NIT Goa, students are eligible for campus placements after sem 6 or the start of 7th sem till the end of the 8th semester The highest package is 44LPA and the average package is around 6LPA to 10LPA

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too

The location of this campus is pretty much covetable distance by bike from my residence. And the staff as well as infrastructure too is decent compared to other colleges in my state(Goa).
