A Concise Review of DBPG College, Bacchrawan.

The course curriculum is affiliated to Lucknow University. So, all the syllabus is approved by them. The curriculum and practicals can be very useful for real world applications too. The teaching method can be more focused on experiencing and learning new things, not just memorizing them.

The total fees per semester for tuition is 3000 rupees only. The examination fees is charged separately which is the amount of 1750 rupees. The yearly fees of this course adds upto 9500 rupees. The fees is equal for all categories including SC/ST.

There are basically minimal activities or functions in the college. Annual festivals or technical festivals are limited. There is, however, a sports day conducted. But it is also with minimal sports activities. Library is well furnished and have all the subject books and other novels and biographies too. It is the most developed thing in the college.???? Sports activities that are offered on campus are only 2. Volleyball and badminton. The infrastructure or area to bring more sports is not available. However, they provide a NCC scholarship and group activities to NCC members. I'm not a part of it. So, I don't know the details to this.

I, basically didnt apply for other colleges. I wanted to study for NEET exam side by side, so I chose this college. The fees amount and flexibility in attendance of classes attracted myself towards this institution. I go to college basically once a week, and they don't mind that. The admission process of our college is very simple. Basically, you have to go to the admission office and ask for the form of the course you want to take admission in. They will charge you a minimal fees of 300 for admission form. This is to be given every year while doing admission. Then you have to fill up the form and submit a photocopy of aadhar card, your 12th marksheet and migration and character certificate to the college given by senior secondary school. They will generate a admission slip within a week or so. Then you have to go to collect it. And this admission slip concludes that you are now admitted in the college.

The faculty of our college is somewhat easy to talk to. But they are not that good in teaching. Faculty to student ratio may be 1:60. I personally like the zoology faculty in my course. The faculty that I don't like is of botany.

There is nothing exciting in or around the campus. There is a library and a hostel. The hostel is only for girls which are living distant from their homes. The hangout places can be a temple inside the campus or the alley inside the main gate.
