Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum of college was average below average because it didn't prepared us for the real world challenges, there is alot alot of improvement they should do in every aspect including atudy material and faculty Timing of exams were okay and difficulty level is easy

Fees and Financial Aid

They asked me for paying 72,000 yearly fees but we bargain with them and after that my fees was 60,000 per year other student in my class were paying 72,000 per year. They will take fees semester wise also it can be 37,000 or 30,000 depends if you bargained or not and it was my fees when i took admission in 2020 maybe it can be increased now

Campus Life

1

There was no campus life, the institute is in a street which is so narrow and it was on a residencial building where on the top floor a family was living we can see them coming and going through our class that was not a issue btw there were only 3 rooms in the institute 2 for classes one for shooting or other stuff So poor classrooms no smart classroom no benches, we sat on iron chairs No extracurricular activity and no sports There were no books and journals in the institute they will not provide you book or journal because there is no Library and not online study material.

Admission

I was very late for admission and confused between 2 course and it was about october and every other colleges were closed there admission and the fees was affordable according to another course and i was in so hurry.

Faculty

2

The faculy was very bad, only one teacher was good not very good but average as usual, the staff in office named meenakshi were so so rude and we were never been provided the mobile number of teachers to ask about any query or clear doubts. There were many subjects but only 2 teacher there who gave us class

Night Life

2

It was a institute a very small institute which don't have gym and hostel, public area was good because it is nearby haiz khas and it is located in green park so we can eat food outside and spend our time at nearby places

Course Curriculum Overview:

Journalism was first introduced in Delhi University at DCAC. The amazing faculty and a proper media studio makes Delhi College of Arts and Commerce a perfect choice for Jouranlism aspirants. The media studio has professional mics, green screen, cameras, teleprompter, switcher and other equipment required for real life learning. The classes are full-fledged, sometimes irregular. Exams are scheduled at the end of each semester. However, internal and continous assesment happen regularly.

well I decided to choose the course is because of my friend who is the senior and I was genuinely interested in journalism specially will I think they should go for more practical staff rather than theory because journalism is all about the media the filming and etc the exams are in every 6 months and difficulty level is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course intending to enter the field of journalism, but unfortunately, I found the curriculum lacking in term of real-world experience. While the teaching methods were good and the faculty did their best, the core issue laay in the syllabus itself. The curriculum was heavily theory-based, with minimal emphasis on practical training, There were no opportunities for ground reporting, feature writing, or other essential field activities like that were crucial for my career. I feel that the course did not fully equip us with the hands-on experience needed to step confidentely into industry

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course sounds very interesting and covers a large spectrum of topics. There are a total of 60 students in the class of 2024, which is further divided into two sections of 30 students each. The faculty is very well read and the classes are interactive. We have frequent debates and discussions on some very interesting topics. The exams are held semester wise every 4-5 months. The difficulty level is not much when it comes to passing the examinations.

The placement is fine in college. It is not a bulk campus placement like in most of the engineering colleges but it is pretty decent. The one who is smart and confident enough gets it. Companies provide a decent pakage to the ones who get placed.
