Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is well designed. There are 8 semesters in 4 years of the course initially in 1st yr maths , physics, chemistry, communication, english, c language, python are introduced as subjects and from the next year core engineering subjects are added. Course is pretty relevant and match with standards. Semester exams are little bit tough but if someone is regular in classes and serious about studies he can easily achieve good marks. The best thing about the college is it provides engineering degree in Production engineering and Instrumentation and control engineering which adds more varieties in courses for students who want to persue these branches.

Internships Opportunities

2

Internship opportunities are constantly increasing in the college, companies like mahindra, L&t, indian railways offers intership to the students. Students work on different projects and try to resemble the true engineering in the project. Overall interships are average here but enough for students.

Placement Experience

4

7th semester students are eligible for placement. There is a dedicated training and placement cell in campus which provides students enormous opportunities. All the famous companies visit the campus every year and select most of the students after taking some exams and interviews . Nearly 80% students are selected in placement, average package is 4lpa and highest is 25 lpa. Although core branches have less placement but CSE,EC are good for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fee is about 72000 per annum which includes tution fee of 56000 and rest 16000 is for exam fee, sports fee,lab fee etc. Students of all categories who are eligible for scholarship get almost 55000 rupees annual as scholarship. And which means you will be paying only 17000-18000 in a year which is too much low. So great college if you consider less fee.

Campus Life

4

Annual function named UDBHAV is held every year which is truly amazing and entertaining. And party for freshers also organised by seniors in the campus which is quite good. There is no club in the campus but students here are very friendly and always found in groups. Some sports competition is also organised by college. There is a central library in the campus from where you can get books.

Admission

My score in UPSEE entrance exam was quite good to get any college in the state but I made a choice for iert because of its legacy, and here we got enough time to pursue our hobbies and to study for next exams like GATE, ESE or UPSC. No pressure of showing in college daily. In a very smooth and relaxed manner you can do whatever you want along with your studies.

Faculty

5

Exams are held in semesters and two mid semester exams are taken in a semester. Teachers are awesome they work hard for students and provide all the necessary guidance regarding technology and syllabus. Syllabus is completed on time, labs are improved during last 2-3yrs. Mid sem exams are too easy but semesters are considered hard to get good marks. Students who are regular in classes and serious about the syllabus gets marks above 8.5 cgpa. If someone is serious student wants to prepare for pg exams and placements he can consider this college because here he will get all opportunities and time as well.

Interview Experience

5

No there is not any interview for admission but now you have to appear in jee mains exam, on the basis of your score in jee you can get admission here. There are 7 branches in engineering you can select your preferred branch if you score good in jee mains exam.

Night Life

2

Sadly there is no nightlife in the campus due to its location. Anyways students never miss night life out of the campus, city is quite good everywhere you can found students even in night. There is knowing gym and cafeteria but a small canteen provides some snacks and tea in daytime.
