Course Curriculum Overview

3

The aspects that influenced me to choose this Data science course is the demand of data scientists, data engineers in the real world. The curriculum prepares us for real world applications by giving training on tools like tableau, sql etc. The frequency of exams was 9 weeks for 1 mid and 9 weeks for 2nd mid and then directly semester exam.

Placement Experience

3

From 3rd year 2nd semester, we become eligible for campus placements. The companies that visited our college are Oracle, TCS, Accenture, Modak Analytics, Deloitte, Realpage, virtusa and many other companies. The highest package was offered by Commvault which was 33 lakhs per annum. The average package of our college was 4,50,000. The percentage of students getting placements is 80%. My plans after getting the degree is to get a govt job in sbi.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I paid was 1,15,000. The admission fees was 6,000 and additional 4,000 was to be paid for lab manuals, course files for all the four years. The scholarship amount I used to receive was 6,000 per year.

Campus Life

3

The annual festival of our college i.e ciencia is held in march every year. There are other technical fests like sahiyotsav, tech fest, techz etc. The library of our college contains vast collection of books which include books of our syllabus which students can avail for free. Every year, engineer premier league is held by our college which allows various state level colleges to participate in our sports event.

Admission

The other colleges I applied for is JNTU, OU. I did not get selected in these colleges because my Eamcet rank was 5189 and was not up to the mark for me to get selected in these colleges. The admission process of our college includes eamcet exam and management quota.

Faculty

3

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:60. The teaching faculty is good. I like my java professor Dr. Sujan Kumar the most because he is so ground to earth person with full of knowledge. The faculty I didn't like was Dr. Sankar who only plays the ppt and just read them. The exam level is moderate. If we cover the important topics, we can easily pass.

Night Life

2

The gym is available for hostlers. The cafeteria is average. The hostel people are not allowed to go out after 6 p.m. There are mostly no hangout places insided and outside of the college and it is not safe to roam around at night.

They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles .
