Likes

I really like that how the college focuses upon the academics
They keep on conducting events and fests so that students keep getting entertained
I really like how the faculty is supportive.

Dislikes

I don't like some of the faculty who thinks that students are puppets
Attendance is relaxed but sometimes your can get forced for it
No medical leaves are accepted in this college

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the course follows the curriculum that is guided by the apj abdul kalam technical University I think the curriculum is quite old so the University and college should take some stand to change it and renew it.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of the college is rupees 115000, from the second year onwards it will become rupees 110000. Students who have secured decent rank in jee mains can get fee waiver seat where they don't need to pay the tuition fees, Fees is same for all categories as far as I know. You can also apply for the up scholarship unless you have taken direct admission

Campus Life

College provides almost every facility which a student requires there are canteens and food courts and cafes which makes it more feasible for the students to enjoy. Every class has smart board to study, they provide every kind of books in library

Admission

I applied for the lovely professional University too, but I think that those kind of universities have high fees just for the show off, in reality if you are looking for a medium college then you can go for this college

Faculty

I think there are good amount of teachers on every student, every student can visit the teachers whenever they want. Most of the teachers are lineant but as always some are exceptions. Their are there sessionals and one end semester of moderate level

Night Life

The nightlife is not much as because the college is located in the knowledge park area of greater Noida, which is quite Remote area where there is quite in the evening, the closest and famous market near by is jagat farm where students often visit to buy things needful

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

I also applied to its affiliated college galgotias university because I heard about horrors of aktu. But didn't opt for it because the crowd on gu is actually considered really bad. GCET gives admission through UPTAC counselling through aktu. You have to appear for JEE and secure a rank of at least 2 Lakhs if you're from UP and want top CS branches....Read More

Insights of GCET

At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
