Course Curriculum Overview

4

The semester exams are not that difficult but for a average student , its medium . My course is banking management so, it teaches us the real life implications and theories. Overall, the college is worth joining for your career

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many internships offered in the college , I wasn't a part of any due to personal reasons. But i know many people in my college that went on internships from the college . Projects like Bankers, farm visit , industrial visits etc

Placement Experience

4

I don't have much idea about placements as i'm a second year student. All ik is College placements starts from the third year of the undergraduate program. From 5th semester students become eligible for placements. My plans after getting the underg Degree is to persue masters

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 57,100 for the first year. Tution fees 2850 Special fees 37960 Departmental activity fee 10500 Certificate course 5000 University fee 490 Plus two mark sheet verification fee 50 Admission fee 250

Campus Life

4

There are many fests in the college : mainly V-fest, Vaishnav Bazzar. Library has plenty of books available. Classrooms are good , they have to work on infrastructure a quite. There are groups like NCC,RSS wtc that impact the students life

Admission

I applied for A.M jain college in meenambakkam . I got admission there . I choosed this college cause it was not far away from my home. The distance was average compared to A.M jain. The admission procedure is quite simplified in my college . If your application is selected you'll get a call from college and a text message also. You'll have to go for interview, where all your documents will be verified and fees has to be paid

Faculty

4

My college is autonomous and is affiliated to madras university. There are 6 semesters i.e, 3 years . My college is evening shift. Each paper in the semester is of 100 marks and 40 is the passing . We have internals also (CIA) around 2 every semester and projects also. Faculties are great and i almost like all the faculties. The relationship between student and faculty is good.

Night Life

4

There is a gym in my college. Campus is quite big and the famous places to hangout is the canteen and the Lobby . Yes the locality is safe to roam at night . We do have police officers appointed in the campus for safety.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
