Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum focusses majorly on theory..... So to get prepared for real world applications students have to put their own efforts. There are 2 exams in each semester.. One is mid semester exam and another is end semester exam. The difficulty level is apt.

Internships Opportunities

I do not have much idea about the companies that come to my college for internship. I can talk about my department that companies like Tata Consultancy Services also comes in our college for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees of 4 years is around 288000 . In the 1st semester... Fee was 41000 .. In The 2nd it was around 33000 so like this the fee structure goes on for 4 years. Some scholarships are like platinum jublee scholarship provided to students with poor financial conditions.

Campus Life

The campus life is good. The campus environment is also good. There are many clubs like dancing club, debate club, social services club, music club, yoga club, etc. Our college is famous for it's good infrastructure.

Admission

I chose this college because it's a prestigious college in my city. I did give Cuet exams but i was not prepared well to qualify it that is what went wrong. The admission process of my college is very simple.

Faculty

Faculty of my department is average. Exams are neither very easy nor very hard. A good number of students pass the exams. The number of students who fail is very small. There are 2 exams in one semester. One mid semester exam and another is end semester exams.

Night Life

I am a day scholar in my college therefore I will not be able to comment much about the Nightlife in my college campus. I do not know much about the hostel . There ia one cafeteria in my college which is also good .

College is overall good but still needs improvement

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in their final year. They can also apply for internships in between. It helps a lot to add an edge to their CV as work experience. Many companies like HCL, Lenovo, Tata Consultancy, Wipro etc., visit the college for placements. The previous year, many offers were made, some students got placements in HCL and three or four got in Tata Consultancy. Highest package till now was 33 LPA by HCL and the average package was 7 LPA. Note that it's not only your academics that will show you to the companies, you must have any extra abilities or talents or rather work experience for a better package. Almost 60% of students placements. If you don't get on-campus placement, don't worry you can apply for off-campus placements, just be confident and present your best in interviews. I am currently in my 2nd year, and after completing my degree, I am planning to have further studies of MCA from a good university in Delhi.

Overall best college than other AKU based college in patna.

Placement Experience:

After 5th sem. Students are eligible for campus placement. For BCA - companies like TCS, Wipro. They offer the salary up to 20k and MCA degree also for a 4-year working bond. 40% students get Campus replacement.

Patna Women's College is best example of Empowerment!!

Admission are granted on 12th cut-offs like for Bihar State Board the cut off was 82 and for CBSE board it was 89 for our course. So this is the process as college forms are out in May after the 12th results. PWC is a women centric college!!

I applied at DU but was only getting admission in Ramanujan College in DU whole I wanted in LSR, Gargi or JMC. However I couldn't get those and my parnets were against me going to a co-ed college.
