Chose ECE for its focus on practical labs, real world applications and in demand skill set. Course curriculum is balanced between theory and practical knowledge where the practical experience can be improved more. Include more industrial visits and hands on industrial training. Exams and evaluation includes - weekly quizzes , one mid term exam and one final semester exam. Exam difficulty is moderate and well timed.

AICTE provides free internship opportunities and for more paid opportunity one can reach out to placement cell and they might help. Internship can be done in both core and software including various projects like data analyst etc.

From 7th semester we are eligible for the placement drive. Few companies which always visits are - Accenture , Cognizant , TCS and capgemini and many other companies too. The highest package is around 20-30LPA and average package is around 4LPA in accenture , cognizant and tcs. Profiles offered are software developer , analyst etc 60% of students get placed in one year of span. My plans are placement or higher studies after the completion of my btech.

I paid a fixed amount of fees which is 222000 for 4 years which have changed now. Tution fees is 222000 and there is no additonal fees . For CSE, the fees was nearly 329000. For remaining branches of BTECH it was 222000 . There are few scholarship from GAT exam and from siblings/alumni scholarships of 10%.

Campus life is very good , its very chill with good friends and socializing is very easy. The central library have all types of books and journals. Labs have very good computers and labs with classrooms have been upgraded recently. There are 2 grounds in the campus , so sports and extracurricular activities are always encouraged by the clubs and curriculum have sports etc. There are many clubs like kalakrithi for dance and singing , with many other technical and non tech clubs for every department.

I applied in KIIT , ITER and chandigarh university but the campus vibes matched with gitam campus which is nearby to beaches and the location is very good and competitive to other colleges. I loved gitam campus and decided to pursue my career here as it provides good infra and good campus. I gave GAT exam and got scholarship , with the GAT exam which is gitam aptitude test one cac easily select the course and with document verification , one can get and confirm the admission. The admission process was very smooth , for any help or queries we get counsellors to help us with the admission process.

Faculty to students ratio is 1:4. Mixed quality some are excellent and others may need improvement. Well designed with weekly quizzes , one midterm and one final exam per semester of medium difficulty. Exams are of medium difficulty , relative grading is followed and 95% of students pass the subject. Comprehensive and well structured curriculum is designed to support academic goals.

Best cafeterias with all type of foods availability with modern infra . Newly upgraded gym in college campus . There is time limitation upto 10pm at night. Outside campus rushikonda beach is one of the best handout place for every gitamite and there are a lot of places inside and outside gitam for hangout and to chillout with friends. Night life is very chill and relaxing.
