Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of the college is very good And the teacher have good knowledge what there studying to the students and very supportive teachers. And the course i have done is computer science engineering

The placement in the college is very good Many big companies come in the college every one and bulk hiring of the students is done in the college In every aspects the placement department is very good

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 2019 because I have applied for the college in 2029 so then the fee structure is around for the 4 years to be 1 lakh and 13 thoudands and there is a scholarship opportunities for the students who have done 60% in +2

Campus Life

As I have previously mentioned the seniors are very good and the curriculum of the college is very decent and there are no college uniforms after 1st year so it's very nice to be come to the college in random dress.

Admission

First of all I have given the exam of joint entrance exam in 2018 and I couldn't make to the top 1000 students so have to choose the private college to complete my btech so I have joined the college and the campus placement is around 94 % in 2018 so I have opted the college

Faculty

There are very supportive teachers crew to support you in every subjects And there are all subjects which is available in btech course it's depend on you which you want to opt. There are 8 semesters and in every one semester there are 2 internals and 2 lab exams 2 ppts are there

Night Life

There are no gym facilities in the college but the library of the college is very good and the public area for the students is nice It's very good in the hostels as the students have to enter by 7 pm by Evening so it's good.

My Honest Experience at KIIT University B.Tech CSE

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

A Decent Experience

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Placement Experience:

I actually have a very little idea about placements of our uni few seniors says there is not a single company visiting, while few were discussing the highest placement which was something like 20lpa or something,i think companies do visit our campus it may not be much but i have definetly seen one or two companies visiting. I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

My College Life.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
