Positive remarks : We have teaching faculties who are top qualified doctors in our UT. Negative remarks : Since our college in located in the outer part of Puducherry or near villages, number of patients visiting our hospital is relatively less than other government hospitals

The curriculum followed in Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry is the same curriculum followed in every other Medical colleges all over India, which was given by MCI. Exam structure is different from government medical college, because the pattern of the question paper is decided by our own University (Bharath University)

Yes our college provides Internship for a period of 12months. An intern should work for 365/366 days a year without any absence. They have CASUAL HOLIDAY (1day/department), which can be taken on their wish.

We celebrate almost every festivals and important days (eg : world health day) in our college either in a grand manner or by just a simple fun event. Most of these events are funded by the college and also the students of the conducting batch provide their contribution via money and organising the event. Events include sports meet, cultural events and other festivals.

Since it is an Autonomous University, the fees asked is mid ranged, not too high nor too low. It is feasible by most of the students and students who cant afford to pay are helped by banks with study loans and other.

The college doesn't provide any scholarship / loan facility. Everything is on the students either they pay with no help or with the help of bank loans. Students from Puducherry UT has a special scholarship in which the government provides 2.25L /-

Extracurricular activities is all on the students own interest. We have a football group, a volleyball court and Cricket group in our college which is well maintained. We are allowed to play at our wish. The hostel students have their separate tennis court and other facilities in their respective hostels.

Seniors are the people who helped us with their books and study materials. Most seniors are good enough to guide us right. We have a good communication with the seniors once we started knowing each other.

I was the first batch to write NEET when it was announced compulsory for the admission process in any government or private medical colleges. I cleared the entrance exam in my first attempt and got admission in SLIMS, Puducherry.

Faculty members helps us the way they should, no fault can be pointed on them. If there is anything wrong then it is totally on the students who didnt approach the faculties in the right time and right way! Over all, most of the faculties are helping minded and really experienced.
