Course Curriculum Overview

4

M S Ramaiah is the top 3rd college in Bangalore which influenced me to join this college and heard many positive responses about this college from my friends family members and other social media platforms

Internships Opportunities

4

The college is tied up with many startup companies. But initially we have to pay certain amount to get into that internship but can gain too much of knowledge from that start up companies. And the timings of the internship clashes with the college timings. But the attendance is provided to the students

Placement Experience

5

The placement opportunities in the college has increased drastically now. The students are getting placed before their graduation. And the placement opportunities are provided for passed out batches as well which is very helpful for unemployed students who are looking for job from more than a year

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fees is 80000 rupees. I didn't give any of the donation. All the tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and other compulsory charges were included in this 80000 only. Except you have to pay the exam fees to the university at the time of exams. My batchmates gave donation of 1 lac rupees

Campus Life

3

Ramaiah College is not so much into extracurricular activities. They do organise a fest every year but it's not as grand as it is in every other college. M S Ramaiah College do celebrate departmental fest also but it's just another ordinary day with a flash mob

Hostel Facilities

3

There are more than 30 hostels in 1km radius. There are many more depending upon the affordablility of a student . Average fees for a hostel is 60000 per year. And heard that the food are not so great in the hostels but manageable

Admission

I had applied to BMS college as well but got rejected from their interview round. Students has to undergo interview process to get admitted to BMS college. But M S Ramaiah College didn't have any interview round and got my seat easily without any donation

Faculty

5

The faculty members are super duper friendly with the students. The exams scheme will be up held by the university under which the college is. There will be certain amount to be paid to the university before exams and marking scheme is non baised

Night Life

5

There are plenty of gyms, libraries and go to places for people who party. And the night life in and around the college is so lovely there. There are many pubs and restaurants to go. And have same number of parks temples to go visit. There are more than 30 hostels in 1km radius

Placement Experience:

The placements of Christ University Bangalore, are pretty decent. Students are eligible to get placements for the 9th semester, and there are a lot of companies that come for campus placements like Shardul Amrchnad Mangaldas and Cyril Amrchand Mangaldas, Khaitan, Puviyah and co., Trilegal and etc. The highest placement that went last year was 23 lakh, and the average placement is 6-7 lakhs. My plan is to do litigation after getting a degree.

It's the law firms like Wadia Gandhy, Dsk Legal, Trilegal and others. Some merchant bankers too are now a part of our placements thing and this is where it is getting interested as we are getting to explore new opportunities. Pay as of now is around 4-5 LPA but I hope it increases to atleast 10 by 2030.

The university has a placement cell which is helpful. They help us get internships in which place we want (only if we are eligible). The placements are nice which are reported by the seniors. We got to know that most of the seniors had a starting package of 7L per annum.

Mostly it's the law firms like Indus Law, Globus, PICT and others. The payment scale therefore is less when it is compared with NLSIU or other NLUs. Some private companies like the UB Group and ITC amoung other others are also coming to hire students who have chosen corporate law as their main electives.
