Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is very well prepared and highly applicable to real world. Few things i liked about curriculum was that it provides a diverse way to know and study law profession. The curriculum doesn't rush and is really perfect to handle and make it up to exams in the given time.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many companies which come for placement. And I am a first year student so not much clear with the placement criteria but with the advice and suggestions and reviews of my seniors we got to know that placement is pretty fine. Seniors have got really good placements with very well salary and good working environment and also their preferences were also taken care of.

Placement Experience

5

From 8th semester student become eligible for campus placement. The companies include Infosys, renowned law firms etc. Percentage of students getting placement is 88 percent. The average package is of 10 lpa. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue corporate law and also do social service and lead a life full of contentment and satisfaction.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee structure is 2 lakh 20 thousand excluding hostel charges which goes upto 2,00,000.There is a scholarship through SSP which is strictly for karnataka domicile students. The admission acceptance fee is 50,000. The eligibility certificate fee is 3,500. My batchmates who are karnataka domicile students pay yearly fees of 2 lakh.

Campus Life

5

There is annually an event called KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA and AURUS (Annual cultural fest). Apart from it other intercollegiate competition and freshers party and farewell party alumni meetups etc. The library has all the required books and magazines and fully furnished racks and air conditioned hall. The facilities and technological provisions within the classroom is highly appreciated with projectors white board cctv and comfortable desks. Sports and extracurricular activities are highly encouraged inside the college. There are student run clubs and committees including DebSoc , Moot court committee, Legal services clinic, The organizing committee, NCC, NSS etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

Facilities provided in the hostel are very much appreciated with well furnished rooms and meal is also regulated and keeps changing also the quality is very healthy and maintained. Registration process for hostel is an application form and 500 ruppess and yearly fees is 1,90,000. The locality is MSR gate 07 for my hostel.

Admission

I applied for Presiency University and Alliance University both in Bangalore and i got confirmed admission from both of them but i chose Ramaiah as it is has more well planned and institutionalized system for law course as compared to above two colleges. The admission process of my college is an online mcq based admission entrance test and an online interview. The eligibility is more than 60 percentile in 12th exams however CLAT scores are accepted in this college. The cut off for entrance mcq based test is more than 50 marks. The overall admission experience was good and there was no rush with the timings . Sufficient timings were given for each step in admission process.

Faculty

5

The course structure is 5years ballb programe , 3 yrs llb program and also llm program. The exam system from the 2024-2025 batch has been changed by kslu. It is 100 marks paper for each subject 3hrs time duration and no internal assessments. The faculty to student ratio is pretty much well balanced. The faculties are totally understanding and experienced. Students can easily approach them without any fear. The faculties I liked for 1st year Ballb program are Mr. Sagar for english and Mrs. Simna for Sociology. Other faculties are also well prepared and experienced. The course curriculum is highly relevant and manageable. We learn and gain knowledge. The number of students who fail to clear exams are less. For 2024-2025 batch which I am currently in has only end sem exam of 100 marks for 5 subjects with 3hr time duration and no internals however professors do give us assignments for practice.

Night Life

3

There is gym in the campus, cafeteria, library and public areas closing time for all is 6pm evening. Hostel timings are 8 am to 9 30 pm. Campus timing is till 6 pm. Famous hangout places outside the college is New Bel Road. Orion Mall ,Lakes, restaurants etc. The locality is partially safe at night for individual roaming . If you are in groups u will be safer.

The placements of Christ University Bangalore, are pretty decent. Students are eligible to get placements for the 9th semester, and there are a lot of companies that come for campus placements like Shardul Amrchnad Mangaldas and Cyril Amrchand Mangaldas, Khaitan, Puviyah and co., Trilegal and etc. The highest placement that went last year was 23 lakh, and the average placement is 6-7 lakhs. My plan is to do litigation after getting a degree.

Placements are okay not so good because of the field as Law doesn't have much placements because it is only given in corporate sector and other things people only have to get employment like for Self employment.

Placement Experience:

The university has a placement cell which is helpful. They help us get internships in which place we want (only if we are eligible). The placements are nice which are reported by the seniors. We got to know that most of the seniors had a starting package of 7L per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

A professional course with the best college fees is the main perks of this college. It is even a Joseph's College, which is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. We have certificate courses, outreach programmes, committee events, etc. The teaching method is interesting, teachers don't rely on textbooks but on activities, cases, programmes, etc. The cousre is not difficult or not easy, so it's moderate. If you study, you can easily ace it. We have to go for internships too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course for three reasons: read, write and speak. The first two I love and the last I wanted to improve. Law as a career gives you opportunity to learn these skills. The faculty student ratio is 1:60. Our batch of 180 is divided among three sections. It has trimester system, which means you'll have exam every three months.
