Likes

The thing I liked that the faculty was experienced
The faculties are students centric and also they help in solving doubts
The approach to new technologies for students were accepted

Dislikes

There is only a small cafeteria with limited options
No proper place to sit and relax in winters
At my time the dean of the college was not very cooperative with the students

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the couse was very much relevant to the academics of all the engineering courses. There was the good terms of the academics as the course was as per the educational standard. Exams usually were of three hours and it was sufficient.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

Students becomes eligible for placements in the third year or after 6th semester. The companies visited were Infosys,Tcs, Headstrong etc approximate 40-50 students were offered job from campus placements. My plans after the degree was to pursue M.tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee I paid was 140000/- The amount of 140000/- includes tution fees, development fee and lab fee only and apart from it the caution fee was 10000/- There was no scholarship for the merit students but only scholarship was provided to the reserved category students

Campus Life

The annual festival includes a fresher party with the seniors looking for the talents of the newly joined students. Library includes each and every book of the courses you need and also you can take away books with you to read at home. The extra curricular activities include cricket, volleyball etc

Admission

This college holds a good rank among private colleges in Greater noida and this college was my first preference in greater Noida because of good faculties and also the placement were good. The admission process includes exam of Uttar Pradesh state level named UPTU and also there is management Kota available

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio was 20:1. The relationship between students and faculties were good and also the approach of the faculties for doubts solving was good. As it is very long time now so I don't remember name of any good or bad faculty now but they were all good and experienced faculties. The exams usually consists of semester of two for a year and the level of the exam was good and couse relevant.

Night Life

The cafeteria of the college was too small for hanging out. Hostel timming were between 6 to 9 and also there was gym in the hostel for everyone. The famous hangout includes mall, theatres and yes all are safe to hangout.

College’s Life

Placement Experience:

From six semesters students are eligible for campus placement. Some of the companies visited Accenture, TCS, skolar , HCL Technologies,Mind Tree etc . All companies have different offers depending upon their needs some have more offers some have less. The highest packages offered during Galgotias University placement in 2023 was 1.5 cr Inr and the average package was 5.5 lpa. In 2023, 32 percents of students got good placements in different companies according to their capabilities and hardworking nature. After geetting my on job with good package i want to work 2 years in india and after that i go to foreign for few years after that i want to settle my own business in India near to my hometown and i want to spend my own time with family.

the overall placement in my colleges not so good but like there is a 7 lacs average package of my branch and from 7 semester the student can apply for campus placement and the name of the companies who visited his Wipro TCS Microsoft at a top recruiter of ABS engineering college and highest package if we talk about his 22 lakhs and average packages about 7 lakh s per company profile and the percentage placement is like 70% and my blind after getting degree from this college to do mtech from value put it college

Good for government examination prep. Decent college

Placement Experience:

Lowest placement is 1.8 lpa Highest placement is 22 lpa Average package is 3.5 lpa the placement cell helps student to get placement if they are actually good and recently the placement cell are now working very hard to increase the number of companies which are visiting to the college hence increasing the number of students who are going to get placed. Placement offered by college is decent. Highest package of 2025 batch till now is 27lakh and lowest is 3.35lakh. if you are an average student you'll definitely land above average placement in Galgotias. Or if you don't want to opt for placements many students also go for MBA or MTECH

My honest review of NIET, Greater Noida (first year experience)

I have applied for many other goverment and private colleges like Lucknow University, BIET Jhansi, Galgoitas University, GL Bajaj, AKGEC Ghaziabad. Based on my rank, I was also eligible for other colleges like Galgoitas University and GL Bajaj, but NIET was the one which was only alloted to me. Compared to these college, the college life here is relatively strict, with fewer fests and events and an infrastructure that could definitely be better. Although NIET comes in top colleges of Greater Noida with Galgoitas and GL Bajaj. The admission process through counselling was smooth; I visited the college on the given date, submitted and verified the required documents, completed the registration and paid the fess without any difficulty. Admission through UPTAC counselling is based on JEE mains rank, although direct admission is also available.
