About faculty of technology and engineering MSU BARODA.

Our course is very good. Having almost all subject's lab and with very well knowledge lab assistant. All the equipments in lab was good and in working condition. The projectors and smart boards are also there. Our course was accredited by naac A+ last year. So syllabus are very latest. Even syllabus was changed last year so latest things was added and very relevant to our practical Life. The timing of lec is 1 hours and lab is 2 hours. Duration of internal exam is 1 hour and end sem exam is 3 hours. Difficulty level is high.

Internship opportunities is very well offered to every student around 5-6 month of internship is there. In which we leart lot of things. In big company of in GIDC the internship is there. Stipend is also provided and certificate is also provided. Stipend is around 7000 to 15000. Projecs are also given to us and real life project is there we are also goes to industry for making projects.

Campus and placement in our college is very good. The avg. Packege of mechanical engineering is around 7LPA. And highest package is 11 LPA. In other branch also the placement is high. Highest placement was occur in computer science around 24 LPA. From final year students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like L&T, Reliance, Hitachi energy, linde engineering, burkhut compression, MG motors, air products are coming and making offer. Marking bond is also there afterward selection they make bond of around 2-3 year. The highest package offered is 11LPA by linde engineering and the company air product is also there in highest package around 11.75 LPA. The eligibility for interview is upto 7 cgpa and process of interview is firstly online exam of perticular company then group discussion and then personal interview. Some time presentation is also there. Every year around 90 to 95% Students are got selected in placement drive. My plan after degree is ofcourse placement. The plan B was to give GATE exam and is valid rank was i get then go for PSU or IIT , NIT for master or for futher study.

The yearly fees of BE. Mechanical is 19380?. For entire four year course we have to pay 77,520?. Here the tution fees is 2000?. Admission fees is 500?. Devlopment fees is 1430?. Lab fees is 1000?. Library fees is 200?. And miscellaneous fees is 550?. If your admission is in TFWS then tution fees was deducted from this. As the faculty of technology & engineering is govt. Clg so fee structure is low compared then other collages. Along the year the fees is not increasd. Scholarship like digital gujrat and MYSY is also there. We have to applied for scholarship and submit the documents to the administration office. So scholarship is also available. In digital gujrat as per the scheme different different amount is getting like in food bill we get 15000 and in PM-yashasvi we get 1600 around.

Campus and infrastructure is very good having very big garden, canteen, sport play ground and all this things. Events and tech fest are also there. Our biggest event is footprints which we held at international level in which the students form diff diff colleges and country are come and take participants in this. In which lots of games, hakathon and robotics, social influencer and all. Apart from this the clubs like robotics, vision, ishare, NSS, NCC are there. Other events like paramarsh and self defence camp are also there. On sport also we have very good instruments of sports and playing area and indoors outdoor games. We also have gym and swimming pool in our pavilion. NSS is also running by students in which diff activity is going on and improve students skill and all over things.

In one hostel there is more then 150 rooms. 2 persons in each room. In room we get bed , chair, study table and one almari. Balcony is also provided. In one lobby there is 8 room and btw 8 room there is attached toilets bathroom. There is 6 toilet & bathroom btw 8 room. Food is available at mess, canteen. The qualities of food is medium. In mess there is lunch, breakfast and dinner is there. In canteen the no of iteam are available. The charges for fix dish is 60? and in canteen also the rate is affordable. Registration process for hostel is also wholly online. According to distance btw the home and hostel the admission is given. Generally more then 100km students are getting admission. If rented a room then rent is around 3000 for stay and electricity bill. Food is not included in that.

I also applied in government engineering bharuch. In choice filling my first college is ofcourse faculty of technology and engineering. And in 1st round i got admission in this college. I applied in govt engineering bharuch for backup plan. I choose first MSU because of placement and the faculties. Placement is vey good avg. Package is arround 7 LPA and highest package is 11LPA. Admission process is online. Eligibility is JEE and 12th result. Admission is done through ACPC which is gov section. After getting admission we have to go for documents verification.

Facilities are very good. Almost all professors having phD degree and passout from IIT, NIT college. Behaviour of their is also good. They understand students and theirs problems and help accordingly. They gives us different different projects and assignments to improve our study and it is helpful in our examination. There is 2 exam in one sem. One is internal exam which is held after month of sem started. Which is of 20 marks. Any of assignment or project is given by teachers then it is under 10 marks and semester exam are held at the end of the semester which is of 70 marks. Marks of attendance are dependent on the perticular teacher. Vive and practical exams are also there at the end of the sem. The difficulty level of exam is high. You have to prepare enough for giving exam. You can not pass it as reading week before exam!!

Hang out spot is our msu pavilion in which lots of sport activities are carried out. Swimming pool, gym, indoor, outdoor games are there. And having very natural and pure environment also. Late night activities are held in our hostels. Hostels are also there in campus. There is no restriction for going outside or any else. You can do whatever you want. But before enter or leave we have to do entery in book. We carried out diff diff activities seminars and lots of thing. Hostel life is very good.
