Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum over four years of degree covers subjects like thermodynamics, industrial management, theory of mechanics, fluid mechanics,SOM,M1,M2, manufacturing processes, professional communication,Design thinking ,various clubs and few more. The course is relevant

Internships Opportunities

Wipro, infotech ,pari ,bvg, bharat forge limited,Chegg, praj etc are the comps who mostly offers integrations and job offers to mechanical department students. Projects done in baja, tifan and many other competition projects help..

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for my course is 1,15,000 Rs , for EWS 66,000 Rs, for ST/SC 3,000 Rs and I Pay 17,000 for NT. I get scholarship from government (mahadbt) (Tution fees and exam fees for VJNT students ) under VJNT welfare department

Campus Life

Starting of the year with sports and annual gathering (Arpan), with almost one festival every month eg technosta, expo etc. library is quite big with 2 floors . classrooms have digital boards and speakers and mic used for lectures by faculty. Extracurricular offered are Ncc , Nss , DYPCET theatre (team who completes in acting competitions), vectors(completing in Baja competition of building a car),Tifan etc

Admission

I applied for Kolhapur institute of technology for 3-4 cources of CS and Government College of Kolhapur for BE Mech, as I live in Kolhapur itself and didn't wanted to leave my hometown I took addmission to DYPCET as I got Btech Mech and was eligible for a scholarship. I got a seat in gov college but I didn't accept, applied for CS and not for Mech in KIT and didn't got a seat .I have only give Mhtcet and boards

Faculty

Most of the faculty is of 35-58 age group, the faculty to student ratio is around 1 for 147 students , since this big number faculty is super friendly and has good relationship with student as more time is spend while practicals.

Night Life

College is open for students for night too. Students of Ncc , baja , theatre often stay till 10 -11 at night for preparation for any competition/activity etc. students often stay till midnight in study rooms in college and labs working on certain projects (eg. 3D printing lab).

Sem 6 is considered preferable for the college placement many students starts getting placed from that, many companies like wipro, mahindra & mahindra, tcs, capgemini, etc. visits each year to the college each and every students gets atleast a offer to them few also gets more than one like 2 to utmost 3 also,750+ students got offered at the final year of 2023 if we include internship offer than it goes more than 1200, in campus highest package was 12lacs off campus was 62lacs, (85%)+ of the students gets placed each year in the college. After i get degree i would try for college placements and would also focus parallely for the off campus placements too, and ofc wherever i will get the highest placement i would go for it.
