Remarks

No negative remarks. Only things os faculty won't give marks properly nd some faculty very rude to the students and all. Overall it's an amazing place to study nd grow from here. It's nice college and good infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeah actually it is nice according to Jawahar lal nehru Technological university of hyderabad. Very clear nd deep subject covers in all the semester of through out the b.tech completion. Faculty teached according to curriculum.

Placement Experience

Placements Job opportunities were little bit down for our batch students compare to senior batched who passed out before year. Overall opportunities are fine and good to get job in campus. It is depends on students.

College Events

In our college many technical and non technical events and fest celebrated we participated in every events and made it huge success. Cultural and sports educational technical fest all are conducted in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yeah it is little bit expensive when comes to fee matters it is too high to all the students who came from urban nd rural areas. Who are unable to pay that much fees to the colleges it is really too high.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no loan facility and all. It allows some installments and fee reimbursement allowed from the state government of telangana who got seats through the convenor quota seats in btech. Scholarship facility not there.

Campus Life

Sports and extracurricular activities, labs everything is fine in this college. There is special teams for the individual ones. Finally it's nice in our college when comes to sports and extracurricular activities and all.

Alumni/Alumna

No comments and all. As per me there is no alumuni seniors nd juniors and all like this. No one there to represent and make it to happen regularly. May be some seniors were helpful to juniors I thought.

Admission

Got seat through the entrance exam called ECET in 2015 year from diploma direct second year joining as Lateral entry students. Got rank 424 in entrance exam in Computer Engineering. Got selected in second counseling.

Faculty

It's good to know about the faculty before entering college and they were simply awesome faculty and they taught very well to everyone who really have interest to attend class regularly. At the end the faculty is good.

Life at RIshi

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from year 4. The companies that usually visit are TCS, Capgemini and MMC etc. The college supports students by providing both technical and non technical jobs and any other uncoventinal career support upon request. Students aspiring to pursue education abroad are also provided with guidance and support.

Good college to join for study

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

College review: Pros, Cons and reality.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

The placements in our college are very good the highest package which we got in our college this year is around 18 lpa and the lowest package offered is around 3 to 3.5 lpa and the average package is around 4.5 lpa a lot of companies come to our college to conduct the placement drive as we have campus recruitment training from our first year it makes it a bit easier to face the interview some of the companies that visit our college are mandatory cognizant TCS Accenture Infosys Wipro HCL ADP the placement drive starts when you are in your 4th year 1st semester or at the end of your third year second semester

1. i applied for cbit, ou, jntuh, vnr, grrr, vasavi, cvr through EAMCET in 1st phase i got MJCT which was decent but placement was very less also no hostels.. in phase 2 i got seat in cvr this college was great in placement and academics but problem was it was too far also the hostel fees is too much.. and finally in phase 3 i got mgit-cse.. honestly i was applying colleges by seeing there cutoffs like mgit was closest to my rank and remaining all were lesser then my rank .. 2. there was no rejection i only changed my mind 3.admisssion process in mgit you can get better details in mgit.ac.in but main sorce is EAMCET and cutoff is around 10k for oc cse.. admisson is smooth and i am happy...Read More

The truth all should know berore joining MGIT

I got an answer rank of 7381, I have chosen only ece subject in all the colleges which I have applied in osanima university, CBIT, vasaviengineering college, Gokaraju rangaraju college. Also other top 10 colleges.I got seat in this college but I prefer CB.IT college more than our college and also vasavy.College is equal to MGIT. After applying for these colleges, I got to know that Vienna is not a good college is equal and Mania university is a good college, but faculty doesn't care about students according to seat in CBI t and mjt, please. this is the best college for the students who are very auspicious and determined

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
