Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum covers most of the topics but you are requried to look for references sometimes.But in the curriculm they have given links and names of helpful books which eases the hassle while searching for notes and also becomes helpful while selfstudying

Internships Opportunities

Internships start from 3rd year of the degree, stipend ranging from 3000 to 5000.There were not many companies but only two companies visited our college regarding internship and ppo. They check the last year project and interview takes place on the same

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for placements from 3rd Year 1st semester. There are pretty good companies. The avg package offered last year was around 3.5 lakhs which is good considering the overall market conditions.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course I have opted for is B.Sc.(Animation). The fees structure is 62000 per year for three years. There is scholorship provided for students belonging to castes SC and ST. The fees for them is 32000 per year.

Campus Life

The campus is quite airy and there are lots of trees around and in campus. There is plenty of parking space. Also there is good amount security for the college. They celebrate typical college festives like traditional day, etc

Admission

I chose this college because of there great faculty and I had heard good things about there college. The facilities like computers are good with latest version of windows installed. The admisson critera is simple , students get admission on first come first basis and also MHT CET marks are considered.The overall admission process is pretty smooth

Faculty

Faculty members are very helpful to the students and they also are very much aware and have great knowledge of the subject they teach. The curiculum is followed according the Savitri Bai Phule Pune University which is of semester pattern.

Night Life

The cafeteria is great with good qualtiy of food. There is a hill known as Taljai near the college, where students like to chill sometimes.Regarding the nightlife there are many happening places near the college and many food options avaliable. Also it feels very secure due to the security guards.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
