Detail review about The Bhopal School Of Social Sciences

The curriculum here is designed accordingly to maitain balance between the theoritical knowledge of subject and practical application, the curriculum here equips students to tackle the real world problem , however I personally feel that there should be more case studies or like industry interacting sessions should be there to enhance the leaning. The frequency and timing of exam are also very well structured and also allows students sufficient time to prepare for exam.

The college also provides ample of internships opportunites to students and students can sit or apply for internship through college from their 5th semester. TCS, ITC, etc and apart from bhopal the college also provides internship outside bhopal, in Pune, Delhi, etc. The stipends vary from company to company but to say the average stipend is somewhere around 6k to 7k per month.

The students are eligible to sit in campus placement from their 5th semester, there are ample of placements and internship opportunities provided here, some of companies are TCS, ITC, Infosys, etc. I am not quite sure about the no of offers made as I did not sit for the placements because I have plan of doing MBA. The average placement here is around 3lpa and highest (am not quite sure about it also) is around 7lpa, my plans are getting a degree is to go for my post graduation in MBA. I think there are various companies that come during placements so if a student fails to get a job in one company, he can sit in other one also.

The fee structure for my course, B.com (applied economics) is 450000 per year.While applying for a particular course the college also asks for a short term couse which we'll have to chose like digital marketing, road to cat (it is basically for those who are planning to write cat for MBA I had selected road to cat as my short term course because i wanted to pursue MBA after my graduation.We have to pay our fee semester wise, for my course it is 20700 per semester (6 months- one semester).We dont have to pay any other fee like examination fee etc, it is included in the semester wise fee.Our college has various scheme like Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana - MP Scholarship Scheme For 12th Pass in this a student have to score 70% or more than that in their 12th class for M.P boards student and for CBSE they should score 85% or more than that under this scheme the fee of the student is returned back, along with this there are other scholarship programmes which i don't have exact knowledge so I would recommend referring to the college website for more accurate informationas well.

When I joined the college, in the first year the college hosted a event called Abhisharan which was too good there were alot of things like music event also famous celebrity and influencers came to that event and it was very fun. The college host these type of events each year, the college has large library with books almost from every genre, the library has all the newly launched books up to date. The classroom are equiped with decent furnitures and all the classroooms have smart board for smart teaching, the computer labs are also good and all the computer works pretty well. The college offer various opportunity to students for extra curricular activities, it has large playground for football and cricket, a large swimming pool for students who want to learn swimming. If a students is interested in any sport and plays well he can also join college team, like we have our college teams that plays match with the other college teams and also match against other teams in other compitition. The college has also other clubs, commerce clubs, etc.

I applied to SAM global university that is also in Bhopal, the campus there compared to The Bhopal School Of Social Sciences is not as good as it is here the enivironment the architecture are too good in BSSS, also the other extra curricular activities, like sports ground or swimmingpool are also very well managed here in BSSS, the main reason I did not join that college was that it was too far from where I live. The admission process was simple there at SAM.

Basically the class strength is about 70-75 in each if the classes, the classrooms are also large so overcrowd here is not a problem. The faculty to student relationship is, according to me is quite good like talking about the faculty to which i have interacted with they are good, helps in regarding any field whether it is studies or like any project or any other thing the student might wanted to dicuss it. The best faculty member I find here is my taxation's subject sir he is genuinely good to each and every students, his nature is also very good to everyone and helps alot to students whether it iis studies or in their general lives. I'll not say that all the faculty here are best as it also depend on student to student. The exams here conducted are on medium to difficult level as when I had given my first semester exams I was not aware of the exam pattern or like how the marking scheme here is but according to me, student should not keep their ans short they'll have to write ans like up to a certain word limit say for short answers write atleast one page of sheet with the proper ans or what the question has asked. The subjects that are taught under the courses are pretty relevant to me.

The college has gym which is open for the college students, iam not aware of the night life at college as i did not opted for the hostel and also the hostel for boys is outside the college campus, only girl's is inside college the campus timing is from 8 AM to 5PM (am not sure about the starting time) .The campus is safe, the gaurds are on duty to safegaurd.
