A brief review of my college

I selected PCM combination. Plysics chemistry and mathematics.why I selected this course is because personally I have interest in those subjects and also it has scope in future. The curriculum was very good so that it helps to get good knowledge in respective subjects and also it's helpful in teaching field And improvement needed is curriculum is to give less lessons per subject. And exam timing is short comparing to difficulty level of subject.

There is no intership opportunity in this college.they only provide tuition and lab facilities here no such intership facility is available here.there are no projects we handled and no companies we have visited.

In this college they provide very less number of campus placements.here very less companies will visit. In third semester we can attend campus. TCS company visit here and give placements to the very less number of students with Max 1 lakh to 1 and half lakh of annual salary. Though here students get less placements they can join schools after the degree for teaching after taking training. After degree we can write government exams to get job there.

The overall fees for the course of BSc (PCM ) is 3600 per one semester including all the tuition fees ,caution fees, lab fees ,examination fees and others. particularly for tuition -1200/-,for examination -1000/- for laboratory - 800, and for others- 600. And examination fees is different for SC and ST students. It was 400 for them.and yearly it double of this .it's 7200 per one year Only examination fees is different for SC and ST students .other than that all the remaining fees is same. And scholarships in the college there are many .but common scholarships are vidyasiri and fee concision. From vidyasiri we used to get 1200/- and from fee concision we got 2400/- Fee concision scholarship didn't provide fixed money sometimes 2400 and sometimes 2600 like this but it's belove 3000 only. And for merit students one scholarship will be there from our one of the physics faculty.its also belove 3000/- This is all about fee structure and scholarships of three year course BSc And this was for the year 2016

In this college they held many functions reguraly like awareness for environmental conservation. And about science and technology. Students participate in ABVP. There is no much involvement of students in sports and activities. And yearly they celebrate women's day And more books related to all the subjects are available in library .and easy access available.

Hostel facility is not that good or bad .I give rating 7 out of 10. Rooms are good in condition but not that luxurious. They provide cot and bed . Washrooms facilities are also not so bad . There are 2-3 messes in the hostel for food .no mess provide good meal according to the hostelers openion. Menu is so simple ,and food is not tasty I used stay in room near the college it's in shrinagar colony.near Hanuman temple

I directly got admission in this college without any entrance exams , I choosed this college directly without applying to any other colleges . I have chosen this college because it got A grade from NAAC .and campus is also good and teachers are well experienced. The admission process is simple . directly we can fill the form with personal details and we should pay fees to the bank and we will get admission.

The faculty -to - student ratio was not good.there were less faculties for big strength of students .In one class there will be more than 100 students. And exams are conducted very strictly and corrections are also made strictly.our college is considered so strict for examination. And in our college my favourite faculties are our chemistry satihal sir .he is so strict but his knowledge is so good his teaching is also I liked much. And my hated faculty is N Ramesh - maths faculty.his behaviour is not good. Examination difficulty is more so many students use fail in more subjects.

No such interview they conduct to give admission here., So I haven't faced any group discussion or any particular interview. Or any written test to get admission here . They consider only minimum marks gained in previous courses .

There is lots of hangout places around this college like cafeterias , restaurants , juice shops, bakeries. Most favourite hangout place is bakey infront of the college where we regularly visit with our gang to eat pasteries . There is also gym available beside our college but I never visited. Hostel is near to the college but it takes around 15 minutes to reach college from the hostel. It's not safe for girls to roam around the college at night.
