Course Curriculum Overview

5

They provide IoT-based projects in which students go to Jaipur to represent our college, and many activities and indoor games in which many students make projects related to science . The exam timing is very accurate, if anyone has any backlog they can clear it by taking that exam next semester it depends on which semester he or she failed. at my time all teachers were good except one or two otherwise all teachers were good.

Placement Experience

4

Placement is very good it started from 2.5lpa but now it's far away. but I chose to leave the company I got and start preparing for govt exams in between I worked in a company for 2 years then again I left and started preparing for exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fee was 1lakh 40thousand. It's a private institution, and we can take admission through counseling. They provide a scholarship in which you can get 10,000 per year, a Prerna scholarship. You can fill it from 1st year of college that you can 4 years.

Campus Life

5

According to me, our college is based on social activities and club involvement there are many clubs in which whos students are interested on they choose that and go to that club, there is a dance club, robotics club,p hotography club, etc. It's a very big college you can get all things.

Hostel Facilities

4

In one room there are 4 beds,4 students have their own table and chair and there are also 4 racks to keep clothes. breakfast too I never did but lunch is very good but the dinner is like I have to order from outside, sometimes its good and sometimes its very bad. On each floor there is a washroom for bathing there is another and for the potty, its a different place but cleaning staff cleans the washroom but it's the student who messes the washroom like a gutter.

Admission

Honestly, I chose this college because at that time I had two options whether to go the the college where I got from counseling or choose this . Am the first in the family who goes to study B.tech so besides my home one family is there he is telling me that I am a teacher at this college its a very good college take admission to this college so my agreed because it's only 1 hr distant from my home.

Faculty

In our college, there are students from different states, especially from the north side. They are very humble and friendly.I am in the electronics and telecommunication branch, in which I like Anupama mam, who teaches us digital electronics, and Nimedita mam, who teaches analog electronics.

Night Life

4

In our college, there is no gym, swimming pool all this stuff, but the library is there which is used to close by 5 pm . There is a hostel by 7 pm in the summer no matter what you have to enter wherever you are and in winter you have to enter by pm . if you have ordered food you have to go up to the gate not out of the gate. by the time college is over there is no place to sit and gossip all the security where used to let us go to your hostel. If you wanna go outside then you have to get permission from the hostel warden only they allow you otherwise not.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
