Likes
- We don't have regular classes but have practical classes. For each main subject for one subject it is 3 days, only for computer applications we have 12 days classes.
- Mainly i like the timing of the classes that is 10:30 am to 5:00 pm.
- We have lab for computer applications subject, with projector so that everyone can understand the topic easily.
Dislikes
- They provide online classes but not for all the subjects only for main subjects
- We don't have faculty for other general subjects
- We have study by our for the remaining subjects than main subjects
Course Curriculum Overview
I have choosed bsc computer as i have intrest in software field. Now a days we see more success rate in software field. My faculty battu sir encourage us to learn new things. We have practical exams in university timings are 10:30am to 1:30 pm and theory exams in other college the timings are 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Fees and Financial Aid
Im studying in Dr. Br. Ambedkar open university in Hyderabad. I have choosed bsc group in my degree, The year wise i have paid is 10,000 Tuition fees for 1st year 2500 lab fees is 5000 and the remaining amount i have paid for registration fees, admission fees, and other practical class fees. It is different for BA and B. Com students as they don't have practical classes and exams . They have to pay only 2500 for tution fee and 2500 for books and admission. We don't get scholarship as we have less fee amount compared to other universities. But we have so many facilities like seperate classes for computer application subjects we have classes during the semester exams ( before 20 days of semester exams) this need to be changed as we don't have much time to prepare for exams
Campus Life
As i have joined in a open university we won't attend for every event but college will conduct every event in the university. But we have celebrated bathukamma celebrations during our practical classes. We really enjoy a lot with our friends and faculty. That was the best day in our college life. The was for 5 hrs. Everyone participated in the celebrations and enjoyed a lot.
Admission
I thought of working and manage my studies so i have choosed open university as they don't have regular classes but have online classes. Other colleges have regular classes we need attend daily in this open university we won't attend for regular classes but have to attend practical classes and practical exams in the university. Directly i have applied for Addmission in the website and got update to my mobile number.
Faculty
We have faculty only for main subjects that is i have maths statistics and computer applications as my main subjects. We have only practical classes for this subjects in this classes only they will teach theory part also, my favorite faculty is battu sir he will teach computer applications, very well the way he explain is very clear and easy to understand even for new students. He will also encourage other cultural activities in college. He is very friendly during cultural activities but strict in studies.
Night Life
Near our college we have one restaurant, named mehfil we have the best food in hyderabad. That is the best place to hangout with friends, we really enjoy the ambiance and food. The way they receive the customer is too good taste of the food is also too yum. But it takes little time to receive our food. But we have reasonable prices compared to other restaurants. Library in our college contains each and every single material . That helps us for better preparation.
