Course Curriculum Overview

5

This course is having wide expanded scope all over the globe. This curriculum gives me opportunities and open my pathways for broader aspects spreading all over the world.. The curriculum and Teaching method should be concept-effective and point to point.

Internships Opportunities

2

Companies like Shalby Hospitals, Zydus Hospitals, and other Multi-speciality Hospitals offer Placements and Internships. Various Health camps and campaigns are being held by our university to encourage social etiquettes in their students.

Placement Experience

3

No, my college campus doesn't offer placements.. but yess University offers placements in their own campus for top students who ranked under top 10. My plan is to pursue higher education after completion of this course

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly Fees: Government Quota: 4,09,000/- Management Quota: 8,95,000/- University fees: 2000/- Exam fees: 1000/- MYSY Scholarship is available to all the students whose HSC percentile is 80 or above. Other scholarships include Digital Gujarat Scholarship for SC/ST category students..

Campus Life

3

Sports Week is organised during January or February month each year. The library and journals are easily accessible. The facilities provided are satisfactory as per the new technology. Different Competitions and activities are arranged in the campus.

Admission

I have applied for Siddhpur Dental College and got admission over there.. but I chose this one solely due to it's high patient exposure.. No, I didn't get rejection from any college. The admission is done through Central Counselling System via merit based NEET result. NEET exam is the most preferred criteria for exam.. Average cut-off goes between 350-500.

Faculty

4

The Faculty to Student Ratio is 1:20. Faculty Student Relationship is friendly and good. Faculties are usually easily approachable. I like Dr. Shabbir Ali Saiyed Sir, he taught Embryology so nicely with deep explanation.

Night Life

3

Gym is available nearby the college. Very nice Aesthetic Cafeterias are available. Library is well maintained. Hostel is quite good. Famous places to hangout is the campus garden, Restaurants, Malls, Cinema. Yess, the locality is very much safe to roam around.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college is giving 2 hours per day in posting for 3rd year students which is the best for us to learn this early how to do pateint. They held free check up sessions for poor people who are able to afford fees of treatment nd for school students also. Exams timings is of 3 hours and we have long ans.questions which is very difficult to finish them up.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So curriculum I think is okay actually. Subjects that are actually related to dentistry have been focused more. Exam frequency is perfect according to my college we have enough break time and study time both. Teaching method should slightly changed as in more advancements are definately needed. For example nowadays for normal restoration people use composite in private clinics but composites practically are taught in internship in colleges. Actually it should be taught in final year itself. However in exams we have amalgam only so it's not college's fault
