Course Curriculum Overview

Dentistry is a very difficult field. Practical learning is the key but the basics are to be made clear along with a theoretical approach. AMC dental College is the best for practicals and theories because of the high flow of patients but no research initiatives so far.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they did. And the plus point was they did provide stipend unlike other dental colleges Average amount was around 10000 per month.

Placement Experience

Placement is not for us. We are not an engineering college. After passing out we are on our own and we have to select our life than on.

College Events

Cultural events- Pulp beats. It was the time of great fun and joy in the college. Sports week also used to take place for all the sports enthusiasts. All the sports were played with cricket being played in the internal stadium itself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Costly for a semi-government college i.e. 2.5 lakhs per year That's very costly because when compared to private colleges it's almost the same fees.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms were in sharing. PG section was different The mess was okay.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Most of them are MDS and are easily among the best's in their respective subjects. Also, there are a few BDS but they are very good in teaching and thus the overall faculty is very good

So curriculum I think is okay actually. Subjects that are actually related to dentistry have been focused more. Exam frequency is perfect according to my college we have enough break time and study time both. Teaching method should slightly changed as in more advancements are definately needed. For example nowadays for normal restoration people use composite in private clinics but composites practically are taught in internship in colleges. Actually it should be taught in final year itself. However in exams we have amalgam only so it's not college's fault
