Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) can vary depending on the course, category of admission (management quota, general, SC/ST), and the academic year. Below is a general breakdown of the fee structure based on past trends. However, please note that the fees may change over time, so it’s always recommended to refer to the official website or contact the university administration for the most accurate and updated information. 1. Fee Structure for B.Tech (Undergraduate) – For the General (OC) Category The typical fee structure for students admitted under the General or OC category, along with possible variations, is as follows: Year-wise Fee Breakdown: 1st Year: Tuition Fee: ?40,000 – ?75,000 Admission Fee: ?1,000 – ?2,000 Registration Fee: ?500 – ?1,000 Caution Deposit: ?1,000 Lab Fee: ?5,000 – ?10,000 Development Fee: ?10,000 – ?15,000 Other Charges (like Library, Sports, etc.): ?2,000 – ?3,000 Total: ?59,500 – ?1,06,000 2nd Year to 4th Year: Tuition Fee: ?40,000 – ?75,000 per year Lab Fee: ?5,000 – ?10,000 Development Fee: ?10,000 – ?15,000 per year Other Charges: ?2,000 – ?3,000 per year Total: ?57,000 – ?1,03,000 per year For SC/ST Students: Tuition Fee Waiver: SC/ST students are eligible for a tuition fee waiver under the Post Matric Scholarship scheme, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for scholarships from the Government of India or the state government. This can waive off the tuition fee, but other fees like development fees, lab fees, and registration fees may still apply. For Management Quota Seats (B.Tech): Tuition Fee: ?1,00,000 – ?1,50,000 per year (may vary based on the institution) Other Fees: Similar to the general category, but the total cost will be higher due to the increased tuition fee under the management quota. Increasing Fees: Annual Fee Increments: The fees are typically subject to annual increases, which can be anywhere between 5% to 10% per year. However, this increase is not fixed a

Campus Life

Student-run social groups, clubs, and portals play a vital role in enriching student life by fostering community, personal growth, and engagement. Clubs and organizations ranging from academic to cultural and interest-based offer students opportunities to connect with peers who share similar passions. These groups provide a platform for leadership development, networking, and skill-building, such as public speaking, event planning, or team management. Student governments and leadership bodies, including student councils and unions, further amplify this impact by advocating for student needs, organizing campus events, and promoting civic engagement. Online student portals and forums also serve as key resources, facilitating communication, sharing academic materials, and creating virtual spaces for social interaction. These digital platforms are essential for maintaining connections, especially in diverse or large student populations. Cultural, interest-based, and service-oriented clubs promote inclusivity, creativity, and community service. Participation in these groups enhances personal development, helps reduce stress, and encourages students to engage with social or global issues. Peer mentoring and academic support groups contribute to academic success and well being, fostering collaboration and enhancing learning. Collectively, student-run organizations create a dynamic, supportive campus environment that promotes holistic student development and a deeper sense of belonging earning money in college duniya

And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 .
