Likes

The campus was so big so the faculty staff and department
I was not much socially interacted but my collage has many caricular activities
The teaching of faculty members were better .

Dislikes

Although collage was big name and fame but the placements result was not upto the mark
The infrastructure are good but need to improve better

Course Curriculum Overview

The cariculam activity in our university is good bcz there were many things to do but unfortunately I was not participating in anything except in games .I was participeted in inter hall volleyball tournament I which we secured first position

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The intership details is available most of professional courses like btech mtech etc there was opportunity for nrml courses but less . Companies are comming in collage to hire student based on thwir talent

Fees and Financial Aid

My self Fuzail khan and I have completed my graduation from aligarh muslim university in B.com hons. I was paying my fees on yearly basis in which 11 thousand was the amount that charge for 1 year in which includes hostel charges . I have not got any scholarship benifits although I applied for scholarship.

Campus Life

The overall experience with my collage was better bcz the infrastructure were also good club were there cultural events games were there so it was totally a good experience with college and the campus was also beautiful

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility was also good and u will got your room as per your courses of you are in bachelor you will got 4 seater room and if you are in masters or PhD you will got 2 seater room with common bathroom for all and drinking water reading room etc

Hostel Fee: INR 3000 per year

Admission

I didn't choose this collage basically I have applied for many collages but non of intrance exam i cleared .but I cleard this collage intrance and I got admission . Bcz there is special catagory reservation in collage in which student can cleard intrance in low score also

Faculty

As I was the student of commerce so basically our department are so big and the faculty and staff members are also cooperative . But the marking scheme was not that much applicable it's depends on the teacher how he or she gives u a mark.

Night Life

There were no restriction in the hostel boys can go outside the hostel at any time but the rules for girls are not same they have to enter the hostel before 6:00 in the evening but for boys it's not anything like restrictions

I had listened a lot about this college which is not in the favour of college but when i got the admission everything here is different even better than whatever i heard. The frequency of the exams is 5 . On the first day of orientation there was a CA who was the chief guest who gave a real speech about the real world.

Placement Experience:

Mostly students do masters and other course like ca cs after bachelors. In final years the students become eligible for campus placement. Companies that visited for placement are HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank ,Wipro, LIC ,SBI . The average package is around 3 to 5 lakh per annum . Highest highest package offered to faculty of Commerce student is around 40 lakh per annum by Aditya Birla and federal Bank. Around 20% students get placed each year with average starting package of around 3 to 5 lakh. I have planned for masters after the degree

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college is quite interesting to be discussed about because top companies do come to BHU because of its excellent students. After 3rd sem one can apply for Placements. Avg package is 3 lakh which is quite a good start. My plan is to do internship after the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love accounts that's why I chose Bachelor of commerce and the faculty was also very good. Almost all the teachers had done PHD. This course made me very well prepared for the real world. They had this internship program in the final year of the course which helped students so much. The exams were conducted semester wise. The exam were very simple like if you study well then you can pass the exam easily but if you not then there's nothing one can do.

Remarks:

The management is fine however the committee elections are happening on a periodic basic. Also there is good understanding between the management and the academic counsil of the college. I didn't remember any such mess between managing committee and academic / support staff.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). Moreover , lot of opportunities are also possible in foreign countries too , and we are also eligible for Assistant professor post (if any).
