Remarks

The management is fine however the committee elections are happening on a periodic basic. Also there is good understanding between the management and the academic counsil of the college. I didn't remember any such mess between managing committee and academic / support staff.

Entrance Preview

The college didn't conduct any of its specialized entrance examination and the admission in strictly on merit basis depending on the eligibility cretria. I have choosen this college as the environment of student (Specially for B.Com) is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is well designed and helps in attaining job according to today's requirement. The subjects available were Cost Accounts, Labour Laws, English, Financial Accounting, Training on Vocational studies, Public interest and litigations.

Internships Opportunities

Unfortunately the college didn't offered any internships however now-a-days the college is having some tie-ups with few organizations for internship purpose and current students is taking good advantages of it.

Placement Experience

4.5

I checked and found the details as mentioned : Wipro Visited last year with 65 campus placements from commerce department for its finance divison. TCS - Visiting in IT Department of the college. 47 Placements so far. Hero Group - Picked up students from Mechanical department.

College Events

4.5

The college is conducting Annual Functions probably in the month of December every year. The managing committee manages to invite a dignitary for the opening ceremony of the function. Last year as well I remember managing committee called up Present District Magistrate of the city. Also the college manages the Cultural Events all together.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee structure is well designed keeping a view of the students with weaker section of the community. Also the college has the facility of fee waiver for few students which belongs to very low annual family income. Also there is reservation policy applied to the college according to the government of india rules.

Fees and Financial Aid

College has tie-ups with Bank of India and Canara Bank which is providing loans at less interest rate. Also the college has the facility of fee waiver for few students which belongs to very low annual family income. Also there is reservation policy applied to the college according to the government of india rules.

Campus Life

4

Extra curriculam activities are a part of daily life. Inter college cricket tournament, football inter state champion ship has happened recently. Also activities like horse riding, well equiped sports room etc is available.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

College doesn't have its own incampus college facility however college has tie-ups with private hostel owners which is very well equipped with facilities like wi-fi, air coolers, well cleaned mess facility, 24 hours hostel warden etc. The price of these hostels is also nominal. It is around 5000 to 6000 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful and there is nothing like ragging stuff inside the college premises. There is disciplinary committee active inside the campus taking care of all this stuff.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is well designed and helpful in achieving high scores. Exam labs are well occupied with latest devices like round the clock wi-fi access. Also the labs are equipped with air conditioners and other devices and appratuses according to the requirement of the curriculam.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is good in all the terms. Dr.S.P.Singh (P.Hd) was the head of the commerce department at that time. The faculty of the college always take care of the hastles coming around the way of the students. Dr.Disha Narang is excellent in his efforts. the professors are well qualified and experienced.

Admission:

The admissions are purely based on merit. The eligibility criteria is a student must have passed INTERMEDIATE WITH 40% FOR GENERAL AND OBC, SC/ST -33% MARKS. There is no Interview and the total number of seats intake are 80. The admission process is quite straightforward and lucid. I chose B.com because it provides a broad scope of employment options and job scope for graduates as a large number of B.Com graduates choose to pursue self-employment or land lucrative salary packages in prestigious companies.

Starting off with the negative effects of attending college. Tuition has skyrocketed over the years leaving college students thousands of dollars in debt right out of high school, since many people cannot afford to fully pay their schooling off. Going in that much debt is a huge benefactor of people attending college because many people just cannot afford it.
