3

The course bachelors of commerce offers a. Wide variety of opportunities however in most colleges , the theoretical part is given more important rather than the practical one. Exposure , fests and events being about confidence in oneself and this college unfortunately lacks such facilities.

Campus Life

1

The campus life however is not as sweet and horny nectar as one expects ones college to be. Here , girls and boys are forced to sit separately not even in the library, attendance is not compulsory at all, the only events that are held are sports and that to once a year and that's it, nothing else after that!

Admission

The only cut of for this college is a class 12 marksheet with minimum of 50% pass marks . The reason for choosing this college was due to a visa issue related to moving to the Emirates. A last moment decision was made to move to this college.

Faculty

2

Although a few teachers can be said to be professional, there are a few who lack morale empathy on students. There are no mid semester exams and except ones semester exams, the rest of the marks is dependent on projects just like in school along with viva . There are two exams per semester and each semester has one project submission

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement as after completing the sixth semester they can apply for the available vacancies. The companies which visited a college for placement are Flipkart Zomato Axis Bank etc. These companies gave many offers to the students to apply for the job, the best ones are selected. Highest package given to a student is 5lakhs Annual. To the student who had much quality 70% of students in the college get placements after they complete their studies. My plan after getting the degree is to apply for a job in a bank or to look for any government sector to work in.

Admission:

The admissions are purely based on merit. The eligibility criteria is a student must have passed INTERMEDIATE WITH 40% FOR GENERAL AND OBC, SC/ST -33% MARKS. There is no Interview and the total number of seats intake are 80. The admission process is quite straightforward and lucid. I chose B.com because it provides a broad scope of employment options and job scope for graduates as a large number of B.Com graduates choose to pursue self-employment or land lucrative salary packages in prestigious companies.

Remarks:

Starting off with the negative effects of attending college. Tuition has skyrocketed over the years leaving college students thousands of dollars in debt right out of high school, since many people cannot afford to fully pay their schooling off. Going in that much debt is a huge benefactor of people attending college because many people just cannot afford it.
