Likes

The college is famous for the placements. Many offers are given to the students
Some teachers are very helpful and friendly

Dislikes

Boring college life as this college focus more on studies so it felt like a school
All the clubs get active after 5 pm so it will be difficult for day scholars to participate in the clubs

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good but it should focus more on practical knowledge instead of theoretical knowledge as it focus more on theory part..but the difficulty of exams make us study as it is tough some questions in.the exams were asked in tha coding round of big companies

Internships Opportunities

As I am in 1st year currently so I don't know much about the projects but the internships offered to the students are preety good.. companies like Google microsoft visit the campus and many students were selected

Placement Experience

6th to 8th semester students who have more than 6 gpa are eligible to sit in placements Last year highest placement was 62 lakh offered by linkedin and average was 9 lpa Many companies like microsoft linkedin adobe visit the campus Last year 99 percent of eligible student got placed My plans is to pursue a good job after getting my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees is around 15 lakhs... fees for the first year is 340000 and it kept on increasing by 10 percent every year There's only a few weaver scholarship only for 8 students It totally depends on merit that u will get the scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is not up to the mark as the area is very small so sports and extracurricular activities are not given values... many good clubs are there but they get active after college timmings so it's difficult for day scholars to participate

Admission

I applied only for JIIT because my neighbour is in Jaypee and my jee rank was also close to the previous year cutoff of Jaypee so I was sure that will get admission..the cutoff this year for cs in 62 sector was around 72k

Faculty

Some of the faculties are friendly but many are very arrogant...they don't teach us well they thought we already know the concept...I won't name them.... level of exams are difficult...it will not be easy to get pass by studying one night before

Night Life

Night life is good as I am a day scholar so I don't know much about it but my many friends lives in hostel and they are having fun...also the campus is located in prime location there are malls restaurants and much more facilities near the campus

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for placement. Major companies like TCS , IBM , Wipro coding ninja visit our campus. Though some company offer good package like 8LPA offer by Coding ninja but mostly average packgae stood at somewhat 5 LPA .Highest Package in our college every year goes to 23-25 LPA or sometiems 40+ LPA also( but is happens very rarely) . In CSE and aligned branch approx 70-80% student get placed. Lowest package goes as low as 2.5 LPA also. Plan plan after getting degree is to purse MBA from top colleges as I don't want to work of 4LPA jobs. I know it is not very less but also not satisfactory after so much hard work that students goes through furing course.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Amazon, Infosis,TCS,Vipro etc. are came to place the students. The minimum package of my college is 4 lakhs per annum and the highest package goes to 19 lakhs in year 2020. My plan is to get job at high package.

Honest Review of JIIT

My Rank in JEE was 49K and I wanted CSE , so my only options were to apply in private colleges. I got accepted in MIT, VIT, SRM and JIIT. I chose JIIT just because it was close to my residence and it would save a lot of money because of not paying hostel fee which is 8 lakh for the 8 sem course. In my year , the cutoff for CSE was 59K But now , you could get CSE for as low as 78K I would recommend this college to you only if you have 60-70K rank and want CSE....Read More

I applied for YMCA faridabad, IET Lucknow and LNMIIT jaipur, IIST , along with my college . I opted JIIT because of the branch I got , which I gave the utmost preference. I had got lower branches like electrical in IET Lucknow and ECM in YMCA but M&C in JIIT is far better then those , due to the packages students get offered here , and the location of the college in electronic City leads to a better platform too. I cleared jee mains and applied in JIIT through my rank, students may apply with 10+2 percentages too, admission process includes 1st offline councelling round and proceeding online upgradation rounds .
