Course Curriculum Overview

4

I personally choose the course because of influenced by my uncle. I was unaware of mbbs and medical field till 10 class then my uncle helped me to guide and put me in Allen coaching Then curriculum is very tough and it designed in the way to make u a proper doctor who can deal with society and work for benefits of society Area of improvement is may be course duration.it is a 5.5 year long course only in undergraduate level so it can be shorter to 4.5 or atleast 5 University exams are held in the last of year only once a time and difficulty level is moderate

Internships Opportunities

4

After 4.5 year of college complition we have internship in our hospital itself. Intership stipend is 29500 ruppe per month Duration is one year . We have clear the one year internship for getting the degree 3 months posting in medicine department. 3 months posting in surgery department. 3 months posting in og department. 3 months posting in social medicine department.

Hostel Facilities

4

A typical room have 200 sq ft size. Every batch stay in each floor of hostel Hostel have 4 floor including ground floor For the internship and pg they have seperate room and hostel A ug hostel room have three wardrobe and two fan two windows It's have proper ventilation and sunlight Meal quality in mess is nice according to south indian people but i am from Rajasthan so I don't find much taste in food Menu- breakfast milk tea coffe with snack Lunch - rice sambhar sabji juice curd papad Dinner - chapati/dosa idly wtf We can do registration in hostel after admission in college in mbbs course It's have 16000 per year fees for hostel and mess fee is according to month Average mess fee per month is 3500 ruppe If u wana rent pg then u can go in theni or nearby colony

Admission

Admission process of my college is through neet exam Neet exam is happen every year and students passed out 12 th from medical field can give this competition exam After the selection in neet exam mcc do a counseling. In the counselling we can select all the college and fill them accordingly to our college preference. I was have 16792 rank in neet so i didn't got college in my home state Rajasthan So i got this college through all India quota in the 2 nd round of counseling

Faculty

4

We are having exam at the end of academic year. We only have one university exam and it mostly for us in the months of Jan to Feb. Faculty and students ratio in my college is sufficient.we have 19 departments in the full course. And every department have atleast 15 faculty. Clinical department have more then 20 faculties each. Faculty and student relationship is very positive in theni medical college. I like mostly medicine department faculties because they are very good in nature and teach with politeness and Passion. The department which i don't like is emergency medicine because of its hard work Exams are bit tougher because we have to study full syllabus at the end of year together . In every year atleast 2 to 5 members fail then main University exam and have to write supplementary exam to pass.

Night Life

4

College have one gym that have basic equipment and one student can do average level of workout in the gym . Cafeteria and tea shop is available in the campus with breakfast and food facilities Library is there but it's only open 10 to 7 Monday to Saturday Boys hostel don't have any intime for 2 nd year to crri but girls hostel and 1st year students have 7.30 pm intime in night. Girls hostel is close from 7.30 pm to 5.00 am Famous hangout places are Theni Vagai dam Kodaikanal Munnar China surili waterfalls Locality is safe to roam around and roads are also very nice in tamilnadu

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very extensive and there are 18 subjects to study split over a period of 5 years which includes internship also. Though the curriculum is vast it is a scared job that has motivated me to choose this course. The curriculum and teaching methods help us in treating patients and improving our academics. Improvements that can be made includes improving the patient exposure and communication skills with practical expertise. The exams are conducted yearly once, with the paper being moderate to difficult. There should be more clinical orientation to improve clinical skills rather than only studying books and improving knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally like science so i took up this course. The college prepares you very well for the real world. By the end of the 5years you would become a full fledged doctor. The current teaching methods are fine but more of mcqs should be concentrated rather than theory writing. According to me the internals are fine but the university exams are very difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) is pretty relevant to today's needs of a doctor, with more competency based skill learning and regular assessment of students, along with subjects like attitude, ethics and communication skills, pandemic modules etc. The only disadvantage is it still has a few redundant systems such as record maintenance etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor, I can help people a lot. There is a lot to study and knowing the human body, to cure disease, and much more is a great experience. The curriculum prepares me to do great in my future endeavors. The thing I think they lack is a bit more clinical exposure for all students separately. Teaching methods are all good. They conduct exams after each important section, they teach. Around 6-7, internal exams are kept.

Remarks:

Speaking about positive remarks the teaching is very good, faculties are the best, the college campus is away from the city rush. I am talking about the negative remarks the hospital is about three kilometres from the college, the food is just average, the place don't have any major attractions, lack of greenery.
