One of the famous colleges in West Bengal

I Love my college. Also one of the famous college in West Bengal. Re-Accredited : Grade A (3rd Cycle) by NAAC in 2019. College with Potential for Excellence" in 2nd phase. Here classes are regular. Also Teachers are Awsome.

This is 3 year degree course examination. You have to take one subject as major(Hons.) and to other subject as pass course subject. In my case my major subject is Physics and the two other are Chemistry and mathematics.

Its a basic science college. So now a days the job opportunities is very poor. Also my college does not provide any internship. But after HS many students got different scholarships (like inspire scholarship) on the basis of HS marks.

1.After the admission class will start. After 1 month of class College celebrate the "freshers welcome". Also the departments are individually celebrate freshers welcome. 2. Also The teachers day is celebrated. 3. In the end of the year we also celebrate Fest. Many other events like holi,sports, Exhibition etc are celebrated.

I do not know very much about the recent fee structure. In my time the fee structure is feasible not expensive. In my time the education system is not semister system. Now a days the Hons. System is Semister type. So the fees structure is raised from than but it is feasible.

There are many scholarships after Higher Secondary. On the basis of H.S marks many student get scholarships. There is inspire scholarship which is very much appreciated. By the way there are Half fee and full fee system by this the admission is reduced.

Many programmes are held by college. In fest many student participates. Drama, dance , Orchestra many other programs are held. Our departmental labs so designed and helpful. Our college has also observatory. Every year annual sports competition is held.

We have an alumni whats app group. Via this group we contact each other. Also The college arrange reunion almost every year. Therefore we are connected to the senior as well as to the junior. The seniors are very helpful.

The admission process is online. In my time the merit list is created on 3 basic point- Point 1- H.S percentage Point 2- 10th standard percentage Point 3 - The HS marks of the subject inwhich you want to do the Hons. Via the sum of this point 1,2 &3 the merit list is created.

There are 6 faculties in my college and they teach us nicely. Also the class is regular.The teachers are very careful about the practical. They do their job carefully. They are very helpful and also teach us how to read and also help us for m.sc entrance examination.
