- Great ambiance in the college, Trees are everywhere we can feel nature
- Big cricket ground , volley ball and basket ball courts
- It has indoor games area where chess, carrom board and table tennis can be played
Dislikes
- Teachers are not friendly , didnot get proper guidance in the initial days.
- Practical sessions are very limited, only sticks to the theory part
- cant expect many events only one even per year that is nirvana that too for 3 days.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has undergone significant changes over the past two years,transitioning from outdated content to a more relevent and comprehensive program.This shift has improved curricuums relevance, its preparation for practical use and future academic goals, and offere suggestions for improvement.
Placement Experience
Basically placements start from 3rd year 2nd semester, In 2024 the placements were very less, not even 50% were placed in the campus. But after 2024 there are good number of placements. Cognizant, Ellenjical, Tcs, Ascendion, Verisk, Accenture.....
Fees and Financial Aid
I joined in 2020 that time fees was around 120000 per year but now it got autonous status and the fees has been increased it is 180000 now. They collect 5500 as a miscelenous fees that include library fee,computer fees and all other miscelenous things I have got fulll fees reembuirsment.(If we get below 10000 rank in eamcet then eligible for full fee reembuirsment) Bus fees are if u travel much or not once one time payment it is around 40000 rupees even if distance is 2km this is disadvantage of this. Others part of telangana will get 35000 fees reembuirsment
Campus Life
The annual fest happens once in a year it is called Nirvana, It happens for 3 days in the row.First day is technical fest , second day is traditional day and third day is dj night. There wont be any new books available, but there are good amount of old books which are available. There are minor degree provided by college. Every week there will be training on campus placements. There are many clubs like symphony(music club), art club, direction club, dop club and many sports clubs
Admission
I didnot chose this college particularly, because of the eamcet councelling i got mgit. I got 7317 rank in eamcet. So i thougth of getting into cvr college of engineering. The admission process is simple, first admission is done through eamcet(eapcet now) and followed by web counselling and then followed by college certificate verification. If you get rank below 10k and if parents are not govt employee and if you telangana citizen then you will be eligible for full fees reimbursement
Faculty
First of all faculty shows descrimination in my opinion , Faculty wont maintain good relation, they are not friendly, but not everyone it depends , i had 3-4 great lecturers who had supported a lot. they encouraged me to participate in hackathon. I cant mention the lectures name it is not good. There are basically 3 writeen exams and 2 labs per semester. the passing percentage is not that bad 90 percentage people will pass exams.The course now is relevant all new subjects are added but i am not sure that faculty are aware of those
Night Life
There are no nightlife in the college it is not the huge university college timings are from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm . Hostel is not inside the college. The hostel is 2km away from the college and the hostel facility is available only for 1 st year students
