The academic of AIIMS RISHIKESH is very tight and tough. Each internal assessment carry a certain amount of marks which adds up to the final professional marks. There are a fixed number of classes alloted for every topic so that everyone should get proper time in understanding that topic. In excess of theory lecture,we also have clinical postings which increases our experience of treating patients

Our college AIIMS RISHIKESH gave a stipend of around Rs 35000 (as of this year) per month to every student for whole year of internship.Along with that in intership here at AIIMS RISHIKESH we will get a lot of opportunities to learn clinical exposure along with simulators to give u a better experience.

3

The hostel facilities of AIIMS RISHIKESH is divided based on the professional year u are in. Like in first year(for boys) you will have double sharing room, In second year you will have again double sharing room with twice the space as compared to first year. The room consists of one table, one chair one tubelight two beds with two mattresses, one wardrobe. In second year you will get a additional almirah to keep things along with attached bathroom. For third and fourth year u will have a single sharing room. The menu provides u a lot of variety and since the mess is students body governed so the quality of food is also very good.

Admission

I choosed AIIMS RISHIKESH over other college because of the slope of research activities that we have in this college. Moreover this college is situated in Uttarakhand which is a religious place and the ambience of rishikesh is quite refreshing in comparison to other places where there is pollution. The scenic beauty of this place is also very good. This was the first college in my priority list. For taking admission in this college u need to submit various documents like 10th marksheet,Character certificate,NEET marksheet and result,Adhar card photo,TC certificate, category certificate (if applicable) and then u will have a medical test which includes x ray,eye examination, urine test along with measurement of height and weight

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course from this college due to its hospital. It is one of the best hospitals in uttrakhand. MBBS itself carry an important meaning in once life if they have decided to be a doctor. MBBS teachings here is only done to keep you ready for the real worlds. Case discussions are a regular thing here. Total there are 19 subjects that need to be studied within 4.5 years. Few subjects like PSM, AETCOM module should be scrapped completely. They only waste your time as maximum contents they cover are covered in other subjects and few left could be covered separately. It goes on for 3 years with unnecessary postings and practical where you discuss house dimensions, nutrition, etc.
