RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY: UNLOCKING THE GEM OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH

As for me, everything about my course was good. The department is good, the faculty members are top class, the management is great and overall pattern of exams is also very good. The level of education is really high. There are smart class rooms for every semester and everything is great and lively. The library is also very nice

I have no idea regarding placements. But as of now, there is no placements available for arts students. Yes, if you are pursuing Science, you do get lot of exposure and internships options. Right now PhD is the best way for getting a placement or internship.

For students enrolling in the M.A History program at Rajiv Gandhi University, the financial requirements include an annual admission fee of 7150. This fee covers the academic charges associated with the program including tuition, access to university facilities, and other administrative costs. It represents the cost of becoming part of one of the region's most esteemed academic institutions. In addition to the academic fees, students opting for an on campus need to budget for the hostel and mess facilities. The hostel fee amounts to 10,000 per semester which adds up to 20,000 per year. For students belonging to economically weaker sections (EWS) and ST category, there are provisions of stipends or scholarships. Stipend for st students is 16000 and scholarships is 19000.

There are 2 major festivals in the university. 1. RGU UNIFEST; this is the festival where culture traditions and practices like food and dresses/ornaments of all the tribes of Arunachal Pradesh are celebrated and shown. There are many sub events like sports, literary competitions and fashion shows/pageantry in this festival. 2. RGU PANORAMA. Facilities in classrooms. All classes have seperate lecture halls and smart classrooms. All types of sports are available for students in the campus. The students union of RGU is RGUSU whose elections are held every year. Apart from this, all tribes have their own students union and also there are various clubs like, literary club, sports club etc.

Hostel life is the best. 1. Food is of top quality. 2. Menu is also very vast. 3. Both veg and non veg is served. 4. Variety is sufficient. 5. Meat is served 5 days a week. But you have to be selected for hostel.

I had applied for Delhi University: Hansraj and Ramjas college. But i eventually ended up choosing this university because it had gotten the 2nd rank in the year 2022. And the value for money offered by studying in RGU was fatter favourable than studying in Delhi University.

Dr Sarah Hilaly For me the best faculty members were 1. Dr Tajen Dabi 2. Dr Oinam Ps 3. Dr Ashan Riddi Exam pattern; 3 internals plus 1 main semester exam each semester. You have to pass at least 2 internal exams to appear the semester exam. Minimum Attendance of 75 percent is needed to qualify for end semester exam.

The campus gym is best in town for all fitness lovers. Hostel is more than enough. Hostel life is the best. Library is the biggest library in Arunachal Pradesh with 2,00,000 books. Night life is amazing and also safe thanks to cctv in almost every necessary place Sunset point, veer smarg, cafeteria, etc are some great places to visit.
