Course Curriculum Overview

4

Btech is a professional course the starting months only made me feel I have taken the right decision to do btech and not bsc because in btech we are learning about everything whether it is welding or accounting. I always wanted to know about finance because that's the only thing and by doing btech in learning all about it. Good for overall personality and skill development

Internships Opportunities

4

Many online and offline intership are available the college encourages us to join some on our own and also provide 2-3 interships for 1 month or 3 weeks in company like Wipro and google cloud. Many students worked as jr. soft engineers and manager.

Placement Experience

4

In many branches like electrical and mechanical the placement is 100% and in cs it the number is pretty decent with avg pakage of 8 lpa. Complete knowledge of placement procedure is given and a lot of companies visit the campus and hire like Infosys, Aditya Birla. For off campus placement linked profiles need to be updated and you skills should always be top notch.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for first year is around 90k because of all the extra security fees and processing fees this fees also include examination fees. From the next year the fees is 70k currently it is increasing because college is trying to provide better facilities and opportunities and it is surely doing so. Also govt and private scholarship are available like Anaya.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is all I could ask for so many clubs are there so many seminars happen so many functions events quizes ramp walk hackathons and Many more things. For improving soft skills and social skills debate competition and group discussions are also programed with many other activities

Admission

The main reason was it was in my hometown only plus it is a very reputed college as it is the only girls engineering college in North Indian which attaracts companies a lot. Also the training and placement cell makes a lot of effort as well.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very good. Every teacher is well qualified and did PhD in there subjects. They know how to impart knowledge and also encourage our critical thinking. In labs also teaches are very particular about proper functioning which makes you good at lab work. 3 mid terms are held for 10 marks each and end semester of 70 marks for each subject is held.

Night Life

4

I'm a localiet but what I have heard from the hostelist is that the nightlife is pretty amazing. Bosses are very fun and all seniors and juniors study together play together and chill together which creates a very comfortable and homely environment. The wardens can be strict sometimes but if you behave they will not say anything.

Birla Institute of Technology - [BIT], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
