Course Curriculum Overview

It's good college for engineering.but i find course curriculum less effective.or systematic. academic and faculties. faculties are of average knowledge. There is only one cultural event in our college which happens in the month of January.and also one sports event called taksh which also happens once a year in the month of February. faculties are not available every time.they are available for limited time or in college hours only.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are normal.or can say average in our college. every year 10-12 companies come in our college.one of them is Wipro.this is the only good company which comes in our college.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

the college provide good placement and internship opportunities and the average package stays around 12-13 lpa , almost 80% students get campus placement in good companies and the exams and eligibility process is very simple - just maintain the good cgpa with good commincation skills

The placement of college is good the average package is around 5-6 lakhs and highest goes 45 lakh in 2024 and students can apply for placement from 6-7 semester. Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

I chose GMEC Ajmer because it is one of the govt. engg. college exclusively for women in Rajasthan. Compared to other colleges I applied for , GMEC stood out due to its affordable fee structure, goverment statuss, experiencd faculty, and strong focus on core engineering branches. I also applied to private colleges by WBJEE and cuet exam and got selected in bs degrees . but i choose GMEC because i wanted to opt b.tech degree . In some colleges like mnit and mbm jodhpur , I couldn't get admission because my jee rank didn't meet their cutoff. Overall the college is fine. But there are some problems due to which the adjusting are going down unexpectedly.
