Remarks

I had applied to two Colleges and got selected in both colleges, first one was Amity University Jaipur and the second one was Govt. Mahila Engineering College Ajmer(GWECA). As I'm very passionate about drawing and painting, I had decided to pursue a course related to that only. So that's why I had chosen architecture course from amity university and Mechanical Engineering(much related to design things) course from GWECA. Both the colleges are more than good but I hadn't chosen Amity because their fee requirement for the architecture course was too high(about 10 lakh for 5 years) and GWECA was providing Mechanical Engineering course with much less fee(about 3 lakh for 4 years). Also, Amity is good but is a private university and GWECA is also good with Government affiliation. So that's I had chosen GWECA.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum and faculty both are very good. Faculty will definitely help you whenever a student need any work related help. The teaching style and comfort surrounding make the lectures intresting and interactive.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship from GWECA is provided during the 3rd year. And actually it is good that internship opportunities provided by them is good. Especially for mechanical, a Student have to be certified with two internship programs(one should be 1 month and second should be of 3 months).

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes, placement is very good but it depends on the Student's field of study like there are very high chances to be placed if the Student has a computer science or IT program but is not very good in the other programs.

Fees and Financial Aid

* Fee Structure= 35000/year (approx.) * Scholarship opportunities are not good in GWECA, they have to work on it. * Campus Placement opportunities are good but not enough for the Mechanical Engineering department.

Campus Life

5

* The College Environment and surrounding is so good(must be appreciated). * They organize many cultural and sports events for Student's skill development. * There are many clubs like Eco club for environmental safety, Technical club(ISTE), and many more. * Infrastructure is excellent there. I'm sure students from GWECA can't deny this.

Other Applied Colleges

Amity University Jaipur | Bachelor of Architecture

The fees was too high(approx. 10 lakh for 5 years)

The placements opportunities available at the college are really very well. The companies which visit here are TCS, IBM, Google, Infosys, Wipro, Oracle, Swiggy etc. About 90 per cent of the students get placed every year.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Most of the companies that visit the college are local companies and they do not pay more than 20,000 per month to a student. The average package for campus placements is 2,50,000 per annum. Although a decent amount of students get the placement, a lot of them reject the placement because of their dissatisfaction with the salary. I myself am focussing on off-campus placement.
