What Students Say

Likes

Sports facilities is very best. There is a indoor stadium.
Campus area is also so big. And there is pure greenery in campus
Faculty members of Btech department is also so good.

Dislikes

Administration block process is very slow.
And there is no labs for practical practice.
And there is also not so good alumni network.

Course Curriculum Overview

The btech course is very best for those students who wants to make carrier in tech industry and also helpful in research field of software and hardware. The improvement area is practical lab for practical knowledge.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 85500 per year

Placement Experience

The placements of university are decent. The avg. Package is 5lpa and The highest package is around 22 lpa which is secured by Btech(CSE) student. Students from 6th semester are able to take internships in campus. And also PPO's are offered .

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees is 86500rs including all registration fees at all. And there is no caste fees system in University ,all students of all caste have same fees. And there is a scholarship provided by UP govt.

Campus Life

There are many fest held in Bundelkhand University for ex. Thematic fair, Tedx and many more. The biggest fest is BLF ( Bundelkhand literature festival) which is held in February. Also students run many social groups like prayas.

Admission

I applied for many other GFTI's ,NIT's to take admission in btech course but the rank is very low in jee mains. So I am not able to take admission in these colleges. SO I got rejected from these colleges.

Faculty

The faculty members of Btech department is very best. It's very helpful in various cases. And there is a mutual understanding b/w student and teacher. The teacher student ratio is good. There is semester wise exams in a year. And there is 2 semester in 1 year.

Night Life

There is a govt. Gym in campus of Bundelkhand University but this is not so good . And the hostel in campus is very bad. Mess food is very bad at all .So I preferred to stay in pg's outside campus. And hangout place is kaimasan mandir.

Placement Experience:

Student eligible from 7th sem and test started from that time also for diff diff companies.google microsoft oracle qudeye comes to college with big bog pacakges and number of offers approx 1200 offers made .Highest pacakge was 2.2 cr and lowest was 10 lpa for sde role.If thinks got as planned i will be seating in placement otherwise gate exam

Practical project , Good faculty but mixed crowd.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year you are eligible for placement sheat in college. The highest package was 1.5 cr approx and average 7-8 lakh. Percentage of students to get placement should be around 1/4 of overall students means . I will apply for both on campus and off campus placement.

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement is good the highest placement was in 2022 that is 49 LPA and this year also 20 LPA of 3 students and 15 lpa of 4 students and many of 5 to 10 lpa . If a student does not get package or job it is his or her fault. Amy be he or she has not prepared or have any skill to get placed if you have potential you can get placed. Every student in college get placed at minimum 3 lpa. The placement rate is 90 %.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.

So I applied for CUET and thought for the best colleges outside this city but unfortunately I didn't get any college via CUET so I had only a few options left to choose from in this city as other colleges were already closed for admission. So I had DVC in mind as my first priority but unfortunately it didn't have this course so dropped that and then ghanaram because my friend was there but It was really far away so eventually I came to this decision to apply in this college banshidhar Mahavidyalaya affiliated to BU Jhansi it was very close to my house and also pretty decent it seemed to me at first. As you know I didn't have many options so I won't say this was my dream college but yes this college is good too so I chose this. My score was pretty low for the course B.el.ed and the college options for this course are also very scarce so the merit went High and that's why I'm here now. There is no such great process or eligibility to apply in banshidhar you can simply apply just have decent marks in class 12th and there are no entrance exams for the same not cut off and all.
