What Students Say
Likes
- Very good people and nice atmosphere all around
- Short class duration which can help CA students
- Very accessible to metro and other modes of transport
Dislikes
- Lack of professional teachers, they focus on discipline too much
- The studies are not at par with many other colleges
- Don’t prepare us a lot on real life skills
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is not very relevant to the present times' requirement. It focuses more on theory and old age practices which are not used anymore. Therefore, it is quite difficult to keep up with the requirements of current jobs.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are very easily accessible and the college also mandates a social and a corporate internship during the entire college period. I would say it is usually unpaid internships and they focus more on menial tasks than actual difficult ones
Placement Experience
College placements are very common as the college has very strong connections with EY and other accounting firms. There is a very strong alumni network leading to easy placement with decently high packages in college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid around 90,000 for the full year. I believe it is quite inexpensive in comparison to other colleges. However, the campus is very small with very less amenities. This is the amount for general category without a management seat.
Campus Life
There are many clubs and associations here. They have meetings ongoing for a majority of the week and it is quite difficult to manage it with other studies. Social life is very prevalent due to its convenient location
Admission
I would choose this college as it is very convenient to be a CA student and study here. The short timings, understanding teachers and big presence of CAs help in exams and making sure I pass in my other endeavours.
Faculty
Very low student to faculty ratio, coupled with very old teachers who have no interest in teaching the course but rather just come and lecture. Very few and good teachers who genuinely care and help and teach very good
Night Life
The gym is very well stacked with plenty of cafes around. A lot of people hang in Chin lungs, A1 or other places near and around college. It is quite easily accessible and very safe at all times of the days. There never has been any incidents of any kind
Other Applied Colleges
Christ University | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] (Accounting and Finance)
Too strict and very high attendance requirement
