Course Curriculum Overview

3

We have more practical aspect, the thing we studied in theory we are practicing on animals. Here we mostly follow power point presentation to take class.Timing of exam is so exhausting because ,we will have exams and theory and practical vlasses together

Internships Opportunities

4

As there is housesurgency in mbbs we have the same thing after our final year, that is our internship. For that we will be getting paid by the government each month. We must do the duties of doctor during our internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year if college the fee is 25000,second and third year will be around 21000,final year fee is 45 tousand. This includes tutoon fee ,exam fee and other college related fees. Here tamil medium school students are fully funded by the tamilnadu govt.

Campus Life

1

Yearly we have cultural programmes that our seniors we be forcing us to join. The library is big and different variety of books are available there.Sports competition are also conducted each year by the final year seniors.

Hostel Facilities

3

In one room there are two people.Rooms are quite decent .I am staying in hostel provided by the college .If we get admission we are eligible for hostel.Food is so bad for other state students, local dishes are provided everyday.

Admission

I gave kerala colleges because it is my home state, but i didnt get that college because i couldnt meet up with the cutoff. To join in this course we need to clear neet exam with the eligible mark, which will be changing every year.

Faculty

2

There will be one Head of department ,One associate professor and 2 assistant professor for each subject.we have yearly three internal exam and one final university exam.some professors are nice very few.

Night Life

1

As it is a remote place there is no night life here. Here even if we are going on day there is restrictions so we cant think about going out in night.Even in campus we cant stay beyond 6pm.No hang out place in college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all its a doctor course. It has its own respect and recognition. Clinical practice is provided where you are exposed to various case conditions. You diagnose those give treatment and some requires special diagnostic methods like xray usg blood gas analysis, etc. Clinics can be improved from first year atleast the baskcs of clinics is my suggestion. Till 3rd year you have exams every 2 months in final year exams comes every 3 months. There will be viva for practicals along with written. At the end of internship there will be a final viva including all the departments and written test.

I love animals so I chose veterinary. The course is well designed to teach you and make you a doctor even tho you are not paying attention. Teaching methods need improvement otherwise it's all good to study. After every 2 months there is exam so it's kind of hectic.
