Course Curriculum Overview
ahh, okay lets talk about it....to be very honest with ya'll i didnt choose this collage because of its curriculam, but just because i wanted to get a degree as its somewhat important to get a job cuz you gotta have some sorta certification that yeah, you know tech and know how to code. i dont go with the collage curriculum, yeah thats true i study for it to pass the exams and ya'll do it too. But no one can deny to the fact that we'll study from the youtube university more than we study from the curriculum and material they provide. talking about how well the curriculum prepares us for the real-word applications - the answer is- you all are smart enough to see the placement stats and make out how WELL IT PREPARES us. and this is not just about this university, its about 95% of the collages in india ( exclude IITs ) Areas for improvement - "emphesize on making student write code instead of making then write assignments which are just gonna go in the trash-can after just one sign and one tick" talking about the frecuency of exams, ek khatam hoti nhi ki dusri aajati hai
Internships Opportunities
marwadi do provide internship opportunities to the students but its only available when you are above 6th sem. mostly there are local rajkot companies/ organisations and also companies from all over gujarat. thats all i know about the internship thingy, imma apply off campus tho.
Placement Experience
talking about camus placements, they are average like other tier 3 colleges. they say the heighest package last year was 34LPA but that really depends on a person's ability and skillset. if you want a high package then start doing leetcode.
Fees and Financial Aid
the year wise fees of my brach which is CSE is 1,25,000 inr. the total fees for 4 years of btech is 5,00,000 inr. the registration fees was around 7,500 inr and the exam fees which is to be paid per sem was like 2500 inr ~ . i dont know much about the fees of the other catagories but i think its the same for all.
Campus Life
overall it was a rather good experience for me, everything is pretty chill. talking about social life, i have no social life, sad. but yeah, i have seem people having fun with their groups in college events and fests.
Admission
i chose this college over other colleges was just because it was nearer to my home, also because people say its the best i can get in rajkot even tho i'd say there are competitive colleges in rajkot itself like darshan university and atmiya university. talking about the admission process, it was quite simple and straight forward, i had to submit some documents and pay the fees, thats it! cuz its a PRIVATE collage, iykyk.
Faculty
i am new to the collage so cant say much about the faculty-to-student ratio but yeah there are adequete number of faculties for each subject. talking about the faculty student relationship, i'd say its normal, nothing revolustionary. wont mention any liked or disliked faculty tho ( dont wanna be targeted by any if they read this ). talking about the exams, its are pretty much moderate, nor too easy, nor too hard, cuz it all depends on your knowledge about the subject yk. ahh and most importantly lets talk about the curriculum, i dont really understand why they have put BEEE and PHYSICS in the 1st sem, like someone please tell me how is it helping me become a software developer?! instead they should subs related to coding from the very start such as teaching the students DSA, web dev etc cuz the end goal is to become a soft dev right? well for me it is! i personally find it very frustating to see myself studying and grinding physics and BEEE numericals and doing integrations and differential equation in maths when i actually enrolled myself for CSE to learn software and become a dev.
Night Life
i dont live in the campus hostel so cant say about it much, but hearing from my friends i'd say its good. there is indeed every facilities like gym, cafeterias, library etc. famous hangout spot is the lake.
