Remarks

No negative at all I. Love my college It's one of the best college in Karnataka India and recognised by govt of India as an institute of eminence which is a great pleasure and honor as a manipalian student

Course Curriculum Overview

It's Fantastic exms r on time with well structured pattern syllabus are on time. Presentation are done frequently projects are given for extra activities overall epaf online exam for 3 hours in sem and 45 minutes for 10 marks internals twice

Placement Experience

Yes Absolutely The placement are great Many big companies arrive for campus They provide even internships facilities The stipend are above 10000 till 25000 Locations are also good And there is no backlogs

Many fest and events are celebrated every months such as marathon, dandiya night, dj night, nigma, swarthandav. 2.0, rang, tarang, blood donation, visit to slums, swatch bharath, old age homes, etc sarvarth

Entrance test was cleared and had interview it was cracked got addmission it was very tough competition but gud process 9f filtration and selection finally got a seat ty for the opportunity Lucky to be a student

They are all wonderful with maximum have PhD. They work with full effort for our betterment with dedication towards providing training guiding and being a mentor and a guide for our capstone project and in all cultural fest

We have Great facility they are either studied or worked in abroad

Life at ISME

Likes

I liked the faculty members as they are very approachable
Mentorship programs, international certifications
The diversity of students in our batch. Students came from all the parts of India.

Dislikes

College is very far from the main city and the airport as well.

Curriculum is very student friendly. We have guest lectures from various industry experts, subject matter experts etc. Our course is more practical based and industry focused. We also have regular exams for continuous monitoring.

Great Learning Experience

Likes

The batch size is small and competitive.
The International Immersion Program at Singapore
Industry Trajectory Program, which includes paid internship opportunities for 6 months months at top companies like Grant Thornton and ITC

Dislikes

The campus is far away from the main city
The 80% attendance in college is mandatory

Placement Experience:

We sit for final placements from our second year whereas other internship opportunities starts from the very beginning, like in our first year we had companies like EY and Deloitte for our Summer Internship Placement (SIP)

One of the things i liked about colleagr is the infrastructure structure they are providing in the universe it gives us a premium feel and its worth paying the money to the course.

The first thing would be our college faculty because they have worked in amazon, snapdeal etc.
Frequent Interaction with founders and co founders of different companies and exposure to new tech
The peer group here is helpful to each other, I love to talk to people here because they always something running in their minds

Dislikes

the boys to girls ratio is low like there is 1(girls) : 5(boys)
I am missing the college life here, coz our campus is literally in building and we will be missing fest and events like other btech college
The hostel is not good, the food quality is very bad

Placement Experience:

From the 2 semester we will eligible to get internships, There were N number of startups like allen, pazcare, 0xppl, only just for internships. there are 50 offers to 50 students out of the 191 students. The highest package for the internship is 1.5 lakh, THe percentage of students getting placed is 45%. I want to build a startup after my degree

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More
