Remarks

Our college do have a placement cell, which almost breaks their own record every year. The highest package was offered by uber 1.25 crores and even the lowest was around 3 Lacs, the internship quite depends on student himself for the rest two, one is provided by college (3 internships necessary this year onwards). Many companies visit our college like Royal Enfield, Uber, Qualcomm, SanDisk, Samsung etc., and many other which offer quite good packages. Average package for 2017 was 9 Lacs per annum which is quite good. To get an internship is quite a tough part because you are shortlisted after 2-3 or more rounds due to large number of students, but the selected ones usually get their PPO (pre placement offer). Average package for 2017 was.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. AC classrooms and labs provide the best atmosphere for studies. A sports complex is provided for the students. There is also a health centre for any medical emergency. The college doesn't provide hostels.

Placement Experience

4

I would rate 7 out of 10 for the placements of this college. Students are offered non-technical jobs. The placements are average as far as the tech jobs are concerned. Students of the computer science related branches like CSE, IT, SE, and MCE are offered many opportunities to get placed. They even get a six-figure package. The placements record of EE, ECE, and ME branches are average. Placements for the rest of the branches are below average.

College Events

4

: I would rate 9 out of 10 for infrastructure. The infrastructure of the college is up to the mark. All facilities are available in the college. Air-conditioned classrooms, library, sports facilities, medical facilities, bank, post office, and all major amenities are available here. There are only a few hostels and are not up to the mark. Places like OAT, mini OAT, Wind point where students hang out are just superb

Fees and Financial Aid

The whole college is given with high-speed Wi-Fi, which covers almost entire college and now even in SPS halls (where classes of first year students are conducted). Classrooms are spacious with AC's and our college is quite famous for it's huge library with too many books and book banks. The sports complex provides all facilities except for swimming pool, we have full day open gym, badminton court, basketball court, table tennis, cricket ground, volleyball court, football ground, etc. Labs and classes are quite good. Otherwise we have two open air theatres and one big auditorium. There is a big canteen Mech-C with surrounded numerous hotspots like Nescafe, Amul, Mic-mac, etc. Food available is pocket friendly and with homely feeling. Hostel rooms are quite small and this part requires a bit development. All departments have solar cells installed.

Campus Life

4

DTU is known for its the largest fest of North India, the Engifest. It is three day event with too much fun on each day, Bollywood night, EDM night, DJ, on campus fun activities, comedy shows, etc. Numerous activities go on every month like sports fest, literature fest, etc. So it's kind of fun in this way. Campus crowd comprises of mostly Delhi students due to 85% reservation for them. DTU is quite easy to reach with bus service and gramin seva to nearby Rithala and Badli metro stations. Every year there are numerous scholarships on the basis of merit as well as for backward sections too. This year even Delhi government has provided 100%, 50% and 25% scholarship on the basis of economic section. The societies provide extravaganza to students

The societies provide extravaganza to students and connect them to other colleges through competitions where very often our students grab prizes.

Admission

Jee rank based admission On held for government college You will find all types of students in DTU. I would rate the campus crowd with 6 out of 10. We have 4 fests each of 2-3 days. They are technical, cultural, literacy and sports fests. I would rate these fests with 8 out of 10. There are all types of societies that are related to your interests and your branches. I would rate 9 out of 10 for extracurricular activities. There are many scholarship programs according to your family income and the community you belong to. I would rate 10 out of 10 for scholarships. The college is 2 km away from metro station. I would rate 7 out of 10 for connectivity. The campus is lush green. I would rate 10 out of 10 for the campus. The fee structure is very high.

Faculty

3.5

I would rate 4 out of 10 for faculty members. I suggest you not to argue with argue with any faculty in DTU. Most of them don't know how to teach except for a few. They have the knowledge, but I don't think they know how to study. Our lab assistants are very rude. Admin block is one of the worst things in DTU. As far as the course curriculum is concerned, we have a standard course curriculum like any other engineering college. But extracurricular activities are not included in the course curriculum. Now, from 2018, DTU might have started encouraging extracurricular activities from the 1st year.

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Many companies which are into brand building and PR agencies are the ones who offers placements to our course people. It's a good thing in all aspects barring a few most students feel so empowered that they dont even apply for the placements. Like me, I won't be applying for the same as I know will be doing something on my own because college has provided us with enough intenrships program to feel secured about our careers.
