Likes

I live the way faculty support and encourage us to participate in various activities.
The course provide in college are good .
The campus is well maintained the canteen and infrastructure is too good

Dislikes

The crowd is quite good . As students come across various state
There nothing to dislike but the canteen stuff need to be changed
Lift facilities is available and managed well but 1 lift is not sufficient

The course term is good we have ca1 ca2 midtwrm and finally the end the the overall marking in of 150 for each subject in this midterm is based on pratical knowledge and self skilled where we work on projrelated to subject

Fees and Financial Aid

Ajeenkya dy patil located in pune provide variety pf undergraduate and postgraduate programs across fild like management, design , engineering and mass media . The fee structure for engineering and management in approximately ?3 lakh per year. Scholarships are awarded based on merit of students and their cgp . The college provides lost of internships opportunities for students and also encourages us to participate in activities related to our courses such as recently we were encouraged to participated in hackathon . Overall the college and faculty are both very supportive regarding to our courses

Campus Life

Every year we are engaged in sport events or there are many clubs such as dance club, badminton club and many more in which students can participate and keep them engain extra curricular activity. To show there improvement the college held event .

Admission

The reason i choosed this college due to the distance I always wanted a college near to my home and also ghosted college provide the couse I wanted to persue ( data science) and i have heard abo This college so I prefered this college

Faculty

Firstly faculty are very supportive and keeps us encouraging . The way they teach and make sure students understand the concepts. We have wide range of course to complete. I love nilima mam she teaches us data structure she work more on pratical knowledge rather than theoretical.

Night Life

I don't know much abouthe hostel . But i personally love every spot of our campus as the seating arrangement of benches are done as we are hanging out in garden . Genuinely there is no need to go out u can jst explore the college

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.
