Likes
- The environment and the maintenance of the university is good . Also various workshops are arranged for us to learn more about various fields.
- The faculty- student ratio is 1:50 which is appropriate. The university also got a NAAC A++ rating because of that
- We have digital library which we can access online soo thats another perk.
Dislikes
- Even though there are facilities but their implementation is not done properly. The students are either not aware about most of thrm or are told very late
- Even though we have a huge library let there is a lack of good books for my course.. i am forced to buy them online..and half of the year we aren't allowed to issue books
Course Curriculum Overview
The 6 month semester is winded up in almost 3.5 months which i feel needed to be improved as because of this we cant cover the syllabus properly. Other than that the teachinh methods and modes are appropriate
Placement Experience
Teh students become eligible from teh 5th semester for placement. Companies like amazon, mahindra n Mahindra, mamaearth visit out campus. Almost 70% students get placement. My plan is to get the placement nd also prepare for the government exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
Okay so for the first 2 years i paid Rs 34200 fes per year. And for the third year i paid rs 35200. Soo we are not given a proper fee structure department wise but yes the lab fee,library fees is included and there are no other charges which are to be paid other than the annual. All my batchmates pay the same fees that means the fee is same for all category. The only thing where people of other castes are benefited is when we get the scholarships its usually 100% refund for SC/ST. 90% for OBC and 80% for general . Other than these we get medical allowance from a government hospital only for the students who are in hostel. Also the fee for hostel and mess is approx 200000 pa
Campus Life
There are very few annual programs conducted in pur department We have access to all the books in the library and also the journals. The sports and extracurricular activities are being managed well. We are doing well overall in sports fiels.
Admission
I applied for DU and BHU and was confirmed for both of them but didnt opt. Them due to family issues. I chose this university because it was more affordable for me and also better geographically. . Soo we have to first register online for the course. Then we getba call from the administration for the counseling. And the selection is done on the basis of in campus entrance exam
Faculty
The ratio is 1:50. Which is a fair ratio.. the interactions are also quite average..but the proper communication doesnt happen..we are not able to ask our doubts to most of the teachers Okay soo i liked Dr..izhar ali khan and dr. Namita tiwari the most their way of teaching and understanding the need of students is appreciable. So we had 2 mid semesters and 1 end semester for the first two years..this year we had 1 mid semester and 1 end semester.. quiz and assignments are also being conducted.. and the final marks also have a contribution of our attendance.. the course curriculum is quite relevant ..i just wish the syllabus was covered ina better way.
Interview Experience
Nooo i didnt have any GD interview. I had a written test for the admission in which the basic questions regarding the syllabus were asked . I prepared myself fkr these rounds by practicing my 12th syllabus properly as majority of the questions were asked from it.
Night Life
Soo the outsiders are allowed only till 5 pm in the campus.. but for library the out siders have access till 8pm and hostel students ahve access till 12 am. Gym and pool are open for all with a very minimal membership charge.
